Why i got banned from obscuregamers. I released call of juarez preview on beta archive (Nov 29, 2016) and then later on here (5th jan, 2017) this year. I later decided to sell the disc on ebay (over 6 months ago). I got banned from obscuregamers for doing this because i should of put i release it on the net in my ebay auction . One of the mods bought the disc and only just worked out i released it half a year ago. They have now changed the rules on there site saying to state if you released a build before you sell it on there. I was Dudeson149 ,i broke no rules and got banned. I fell they should of gave me a warning and changed the rules, what do you think ??
Without knowing all the fine details, I would say, if you didn't break any rules at the time then there is no grounds for a ban. A ban indicated a break of published rules. If they changed the rules after the event then there is no grounds to ban in retrospect. Sounds more like sour grapes.

Yeah that guy got 3 builds off me and never gave the password for his uploads. That was so unfair .. One of the mods even said we should give him a second chance as he never broke any rule and they have just change them. The other 4 mods just want me banned.
You were banned because of the way you replied. Before you made this reply we were going to allow you to remain. You then reply "Shit Happens" so guess what? Shit happens the staff voted to ban you. Even at this stage I stayed neutral and said I'd count my vote towards the top vote which was 4 for ban before even my vote. Unknown to you at OG and any site I work on as admin we work as a team and the top vote is the final decision. It doesn't matter if one said no. We rebranded the original site that was there and it became OG which was planned months in advance before AG went down, for any staff/AG elitist that thinks we were trying to steal AG's members. The original site was up from 2009 until I took ownership in 2015 and had a 3rd party manage it badly so took it back early this year with the plan to make it a developement/preservation related site. We made the site to document stuff properly, with a team that gives a shit and doesn't expect you to help them and then fucking ignore them like some site owners. It's not hard to say thank you when you get your ass handed to you and you don't know how to fix it. as stated before, yup I know Kev's having it rough but he had multiple options to repair the site and even asked for my help which I wasted fucking weeks on with nothing more then requests for more help. We also care about the preservation scene so we weed out dishonest people. we want a site that has respectful users, trusted users, and not dishonest people who hide things or scam. Re AG: Any decent owner will force reset logins and not expect users to do it if hacked. Least on OG we warned about the AG hack which I tried to help Kev with but after being dicked around for months I cut ties to this site minus to use the market and contact friends. I only logged in today to put the proper story out. Where's the pass reset? oh wait you've still got half a damn site which is under an hours work again, that took 4 months to do. Its not about switching sides at all but rules have to be set from the start I respect OG as much as AG because of what these sites do to help the community. It brings people together. It give us distraction from the shit that happens in everyday life I'm neutral on both sites regardless if you look at the rules that are set here they are very detailed and updated constantly according to the rules of releases in the dumps I respect you demon regardless. hey world yes I AM theUE3collective and TheNew that doesn't make me a bad person at all I respect all members regardless so what if I deny it it's all good I'm that guy but at the end of the day I'm just a member
Since this is the common, someone else should be able to handle reins in addition to assembler. This is not the first time he has been horribly ill, so arrangements should be made and appropriate privileges given to someone trustworthy and competent.
We're working on that, it's a very good idea. Doing it legally as well as practically. I'm trying to set the site up so if I drop dead, it will live on. Also, selling a beta that you released is not immoral as long as you mention it's been released already.
I don't want it to ever come across that I don't respect you Assembler. I feel I must make that clear as my frustrations may seem harsh. I don't know first hand what it's like to be ill for long periods, however my parents have been ill all my life. Even as an adult I still have to take care of them. I have empathy for you. The community you have built is zenith of the retro gaming world. We don't have corrupt admins and elitist weirdos like the sonic retro forum. Maybe you could give an answer to that? It seems he didn't, which definitely puts him on dodgy ground. He deserved a warning, not "RESEPECT MY AUTHORITAH!!!!!!1". Especially to a throw away "shit happens" comment. Sounds either like the mods already had a grudge, or aren't experienced enough to deal with human behaviour.

Its just a heads up for anyone wondering why im banned on OG and do you think its fair. Anyone could make that misstake . Release a build on sites (over half a year ago), then one day sell some games on ebay this being one. Anyone can buy something on ebay, it could of been dumped ,released or shared with lots of people. The last thing on your mind is writing it in the description . All the mods that wanted me banned do not understand the rules , i bet it was over not sharing builds i had......
