I would jump on this but too many bills. Would you believe $400 a month for heat this year due to unusually cold winter? @_@

(I really need to replace the furnace, propane is much cheaper than fuel oil these day)

I bet it's an SNES CD prototype.

First post makes note that this is a trailer of items, not just one.

Not a trailer but a container since this must have been shipped from Japan to USA.

Weight and era is mentioned, presumably some sort of dev kits or something?

Interesting stuff anyway, sounds like a truly amazing find whatever it is!

    Is this stuff still secured?

I'll have to start informing people when I've secured new stuff and let them buy.... ERM I mean "get in on projects"

Hahaha, more like drive to the border and flee with copious amount of random dev hardware from the 80s and 90s.
Well maybe that's just what I'd do. I'll need a truck. A very big truck. :smile-new:

And 50 illegal immigrants who had been paid to escape in different directions as soon as they open the truck.

I think we can pretty much assume that this isn't happening. It's been how many months since the OP's original post and no updates in quite a while.

Hypothetically, if I came across a trailer load of internal use only dev hardware in a trailer - I wouldn't be screaming "HEY BUY MY SNES CDS" from the rooftops, I'd only offer it to the elite-tier collectors who actually want to put money forward and can afford to do so. Not sure what the legal status with older dev stuff is, or the legality of storage locker sales but I don't imagine Nintendo being too happy about a public sale (could be wrong), not to mention the increase of traffic on the site and bandwidth costs, influx of scammers.etc. I agree with the way this is being executed and hope Assembler scrapes enough funds together.

If you're serious about it, cough up some money. If not, wait it out like the rest of us.

Asking around in public, generating a buzz and then be quiet in order to sell under the table... that's not exactly what gets a community closer together. If this was supposed to be secret all along, why tell everyone about the big news?
