Hey there, out of curiosity, has anyone ever ran into another member of this forum completely out of the blue at a trade show, computer store, game store? I found a really cool Saturn fan friend of mine who got my old job at my ex company is a member of this wonderful sick sick naughty forum, also at E3 found some people doing silly things at the all mighty E3 Expo and some random obscure game stores with a pile of Dreamcast games c raddled in their arms.

Anyone else? BTW, anyone here met me in person???

No, I haven't. I do know of a few members who live in the Tacoma area, though.

I live in the third world, and I don't even remotely know anyone from here in real life. I used to IM with AntiPasta, Evangelion01 and a few times MadHatter256, and I regularly talk to WolverineDK over the web, but that's about it. I was starting to get into a magazine thing that Karsten was starting, but circumstances beyond my control made me bail suddenly - and now he probably doesn't like me much anymore. I suck, sorry.

I guess the only users I could get to know IRL in the conceivable future would be Eva01 if he comes back to Mexico or Garlo if I go to Monterrey (and if he still even posts here.).

Oh, and I have a few of you guys on Xbox Live but we rearely coincide - either I don't have XBL Gold (like now) or we don't have the same games, or we're not online at the same times.

I've met a few members from here. One lives not that far from me by car at least.

I've never run into any one from the site in real life, though I did recommend the site to two people (my brother and a former friend), but neither of them joined.

    Proof me wrong, daddelkingz.de people!

    Other than that, no.

Hmmm well, I do not think I have met any of the Danish members , and well if any of the Swedes would meet in either Helsingborg, Malmö or Copenhagen. Then I would gladly do it. But hey who knows and so forth.

I've met a couple of people from Assembler in real life and would be more than happy to meet a few others. Yet again, there are some I think I would actively avoid (no names mentioned). ;-)

I have been hunting members all my life. Alas, no heads hang on my trophy wall yet.

That said, I used to live in the same city as many members here! Liverpool!!

Never met anyone from this site yet. I'm sure there is one member who lives quite close to me although i don't take much notice where people live except for knowing some members who live in japan or america....etc

I'm sure it would good to meet up with some assembler members in real life but the only problem i'd have is with real names becuase i would be more familliar with using their boards names and i'd end up confusing myself probably.

He he, I doubt it is me . But then again if it was me, then I would not be offended, I could actually understand it. But anyway , Parris I highly doubt it is me you are talking about. Anyway if you ever happen to be in The Shamrock Inn in Copenhagen, then there will be a beer either going, or flying your way. If you of course like beer.

karsten: you are forgetting an important thing, and that is not all of us can take the heat. if it is over 24 degrees Celsius. or else there needs to some serious wind, or air condition . Oh I almost forgot, the lonely Norwegian member is more than welcome to join the Scandinavian meetup, if there ever was one.

Pfff... Scandinavians... time off from school on account of excessively hot weather when it's 20 degrees Celsius

We got a time off when the air conditioned principals office had a room temperature over 26° C.

But most likely you can take freezing temperatures much better than I.

Yup, we kick ass in comparison when it comes minus temperatures. But even I shit bricks in the Danish moist cold, and not the dry cold. As Norway has in the winter.
