I Keep Ruuning into People From This Forum in Real Life!

I once ran into GaijinPunch kind of incidently. He somewhere posted that he'd hang out at that certain Shibuya arcade most of the time and as I was on holiday, I thought I might give it a shot: entered a random game center in Shibuya and found only one Westerner in flipflops playing Mushihimesama Futari. Asked, and bingo :lol:

 

I used to visit GaijinPunch's website regularly before I came to the forums (I was a lurker here for a long while), and I never realised it was the same person until much later.

 

Well I go to Mexico every couple of years to visit my dad who lives in Tampico (Tamaulipas), next time I'll let you know! :nod:

I run into z_killemall at least once or twice a week at the university, and we both know the other 3 members from Uruguay (who mostly lurk and don't post much).

I also travel a lot to the US, almost once every year so I guess I could meet up with other members, and next year I'm planning on going to France with some friends so who knows!

not that I know of.. i guess there's always some chance that I've meet someone without knowing it.

 

If you ever by chance come by Copenhagen, then I would enjoy meeting you. And that goes out to all Swedes, Norwegians and so forth. As long people can behave.

 

Never met anyone from the internet that lives near me. Well apart from school friends of course.

 

I have met quite a few from the internet. Heck that is how I know quite a few Danish Depeche Mode fans. And it all started after the concert in 2001. But I have also met a few crazies among people I have met online.

 

Sounds like a great plan. Tampico is extremely far away from Guadalajara, but you can stop by over here on your road to Tampico from the south, and I'll give you a room to stay for a couple of days or so.

We'll get drunk and stoned and play games for hours on end.

Invitation is open to whomever wants to stop by the most boring city in the known universe.

I joined a clan once on Lineage 2 when it was in US only beta, a small guild of 6 people.

One of the other people in the guild happened to be from my home town. I tested him to make sure he wasn't lying and sure enough he described the place as well as someone that lived there and named some people I knew.

Freaky.
