Well thats what happens to people with too much money and too little knowledge/sense.

Then again all collectors have been there at some point.

I have it, it was a real shitty game. I don't think that bad games should worth that much, no matter how rare they are. At least if they are not Atari's ET ;p

I hope you mean no offense at all with the sense thing... I can understand that coming from people like virtua, but from you?

What if I paid 100€ more from a game than you? sometimes you get it cheaper, some times more expensive... and? I'm happy and that's all that matters to me. If next Tetris is sold for 4000€, hey! lucky you! I really don't care. I got mine now.

The pic is funny :) ,however, Virtua you must think of me too often uh? (he posted this pic in all collector's forums in Spain ROLF), you evidence your stupidity taking all this effort to humiliate me.

    The pic itself defines you.

    100€ XD

I think he re-listed it a few times because it did not sell, don't know if he finally sold it though. If so, I assume it was privately.

I saved all images of the sealed copy:

None at all. Well perhaps a little, but thats not directed just at you or collectors in general, more at me / my former spending ways, and the fact that passion really can overtake the head all too often! Like a written kick in my backside to keep me on the level.

I count myself firmly in that bracket you see. FIRMLY! I've spent way more than I ought too on MANY gaming items. Although I do try and show a bit of sense now lol.

(I mean when I started, someone just had to think 'rare' and I'd be there with too much cash by far. Now I'm a lot more sensible, although thats in part due to having most/all I want for most/all the systems I collect.)

Plus I have realised (finally) that patience can indeed be a virtue. There are very few gaming items that are one offs, very few that can't be found more than once with time and patience.

But you're right about being happy though, that's the main thing. I swear I almost got wood when my tuner arrived!

I've to agree with Mundocombo. In many ocasions I've also spent too much money for some stuff which "should" have costed less. But collecting consists in that. It's a game based in trying to weigh the investment on one hand, and the possibilities of finding another item like that on the other one. And very often we got afraid of losing it forever...

I heared anything about a video archive; staring; you, a hammer and your batman copy....

Elementary, my dear watson... the truth is too embarrassing for you.

I agree too, but it still doesn't have to be a one off item to take a very long time to come back up for sale again, just have to do what you feel is best I guess, be it waiting for another/better one, or just buying it at the first chance you get.

I really wish I had of bought that Yoshi no Cookie: Kuruppon Oven de Cookie with the original box wheelaa... Might not ever get another chance, maybe passing on an item isn't always the best thing to do. ^_^

For how much did you miss that Yoshi's Cookie? You would definately get another chance at at least 3 shops in Japan.

Wheelaa: I guess you answered that because I said "very often", Right? :p Well, I agree in some way with you, I went too far, he he he. But, in part, I think that depends on the manias and also the possibilites to get rare stuff which everyone have. For example in my case I only collect brand new SEGA consoles (or in a semi-new condition, when that's not possible), so I face that dilema very often: Should I let it go and wait for one cheaper/better? What difficult is to have to choose! :p

I could buy it from the shops, but I think they are really, really over priced. I think I haven't seen Yoshi no Cookie sell for more than 160,000 yen. I can't remember what the one with the original box sold for, but I got out-bid on a new copy a few weeks ago too, I bid 105,800 yen and it sold for 106,000 yen, just my luck. ^_^

Where is the spinned syndicate ?
It has shown itself maybe only two times this year, making it rarer than the other three :)

Bet those people who paid lots of money for Circus Lido on the PC Engine a few years back feel rather idiotic now. :D

Tetris on MD? Seen at least 4 copies for sale in the last 3 years. Go-Net on MD? Seen at least 3 in the last year.

Basically everything will show up again, although I still prefer the fun of finding the game in the wild, which means certain games are harder to find (although sadly not the overpriced Acclaim stuff or the "Rarer" Sega stuff which you can find quite easily in Japan). Certain markets are harder to find, but once one goes for a tidy sum on Ebay they all seem to flood out....

New machines will turn up every so often, but how can you be 100% sure it's new? I've seen some shops take a great condition machine and refresh the internals (bag, cable ties) so it looks near new...

Who spokes in this thread about syndicate? LOL

2 spinned copy (one spinned from england wich bought by fnavarro)(i dont know the other one). And ff,ss and batman robin SPINNED copys? I only know 1 spinned ff this year (my game) and 1 spinned ss this year (fnavarro copy).

But, heheheh, there is a game rarer than the other four. Spinned of course.

People please: If you really want the game and you have money, ok no problem, yo got it. Obviously!!!

But mundocongo really didn't want the game (B&R) he only want the game for one reason: "virtuanestor cant get it" i have a lot of clues of that. He paid 400 € only for that. Yes! very stupid. Finally a after month i get my copy by only 300 €. Here it's the owned. Mundocongo=Luc Fons.

It's a long long story. Too booring but if everybody wanna know can start in the thread: "confirmation of tetris MD". There is a picture with a big spam poster near pajitnov....

Tetris: Spam publicity for my web.
B&R: I only want to fuck virtuanestor

Mundocombo say not, i'm a devil crazy man....

    ....

    Obviously
