    Fact: You're a moron.
Fact: The only Mustang that came stock with Mysti-chrome (color-changing) paint is the 2004 Mustang Cobra. I would love you to tell me where you can find one of those for 6k.

Don't get upset, it wasn't an insult.

    For the record:
Does sound like you had some experience of it, you talked about Acclaim uk in another thread too. Put it this way: if a new username shows up after someone's left, writes exactly like the person who's left, and posts stuff indicating they live in a similar place and have similar job contacts, would you jump to conclusions? Please don't insinuate that I need to "get out more" when all I'm doing is making simple observations.

"Unregistered" is definitely the coolest bastard to ever post on these boards :)

I don't have anything against Kevin personally, it's a nice little community he started here. However I think taking donation to keep your board running, and keeping the large amount of excess money was a terrible thing to do. Especially when you tell us you have a well paid job and (I'm assuming here) thousands of dollars worth of video game stuff. Still, I suppose you didn't force people to pay...

10K sounds like a huge amount for a new paint job, even a custom one. I think the garage me be fleecing you there.

    Tony

[PS, I'm just posting here because, well, you can't have an argument with out me there somewhere]

I was under the impression that no one here knew anything (I certainly don't). Alien Workshop, fill us in. We're all mature enough to know it could be bullshit, but there's little point in having a forum if no one will talk about anything :)
Even if you disagree, someone PM me and let me know, I'm curious.

Or it's programming age. He won some stuff off me but was such an ass that I sent him a refund and banned him from further bidding on any of my auctions.

He's the only one who would mention the "it would take 10,0000 ASSemblers to make half of one OE"

I said in irc "it would take 10,000 programming ace's to equal one old engineer."

No one else would take offense at that line.

It's basically someone from irc, someone who asked to leave
and is now being a child.

As to your problems with me, I would be happy to set up a mutual
meeting place and settle this with a man to man fight.

But then again, you won't do that will you?

Server costs me almost $2000 a year just so you have the privilege to come here, read info and trash me.

    Talking about being an ingrate.

How would you like it if I had to resort to shitloads of ads, or adwords?

But then again that is transparent. Servers are of course FREE, and when the server gets attacked support is of course FREE, as are new ip addresses, FREE, and licensed for VBB, FREE.

Also the balance of that money is sitting in an account for when there are problems.

If we're going to be putting our two cents in here, I would ask that you know what the fuck you are talking about before you post funk star.

    So your contribution: JACK SHIT
    Mine?
Since the new boards I have spent over $4000 just on server fees,
    $160 a month plus tax.

I recommend you shut the fuck up when you don't know what you're talking about.

I thought you were here when it happened... oh well if you really want to know.

This happened on the phpbb boards, and well... I'm not going to name any names but one of our members was complaining about the Neo Geo community and how they dictate the prices for Neo Geo items that aren't worth what they are going for. Another member, who just happened to be a member of Neo-Geo.com forums, posted the link over there and the forum war between Neo-Geo and Assembler began.

That's pretty much it. Like I said, it happened ages ago, and I doubt that it has anything to do with this situation now.

Was it really needed to delete the "new" OE? He has contributed a lot of stuff in the past...

ASSEMbler: I don´t get some people, and their strange behaviour at times, but of what the unregistred person is babbling about, is pure bullcrap, since I know one thing, and that is. That when I payed you the money, to my GBA AR, that went smooth through, so who ever that person is, then I must say, that he is the spineless, maybe stomache cancer having patient. And I wish him the best of luck, where ever he wants to go, since I know, that you are the real deal. And he is not. But perhaps. if he didn´t use so many proxy servers, then we could find out who he is.

It's programming ace, and probably skitzo and bunch of people from the irc channel. All the stuff the mentioned is from irc.
There's no other place to have gotten the info.

The comments by certain people still on forum are timed so well,
I'm sure they are all in irc having a chuckle. I'm keepin an eye on you,
    you know who you are.

Seriously these people must have nothing better to do.

However, I did manage to use the guest posting to root out some "new" accounts
by people who wanted to "leave".

I don't think I was too involved in the forum to remember that, but yeh I doubt it relates to that incident as well as the sonic community, because some of the stuff mentioned by unregistered happened around the early phpbb days (when the default theme was red&white). I really don't think it could be people from sonic xtreme community, unless its boris, hxc, and two other people here whom I believe where lurkers and then members since late ezboard days.

4K? How did you manage that?. Assember is no way that big, you can get 1TB of bandwidth a month for about $20.
Regardless, even if your site was eating up 100TB a month, it's still your responsibility to pay for it, no one else's. There's little point comparing my contribution to yours; it not my site.
Fine, ask for donations if the bills are getting too much for you, but it seems you made a nice little profit.
We were all doing just fine using the shitty old board and hosting from roar. And relax a bit, remember this is an open forum, I'm just telling you what I think.

Ah, I remember... I never knew it was such a big deal though. Forum wars are the most geeky thing I can think of :)
