For those that don't know Tech TV was a network in the US devoted to all things Tech......before comcast bought it and ruined it.

Reason I say this is I used to regularly e-mail alot of the hosts and unlike most tv personalities they actually took the time to write back, I've been in contact with a few of them since and they actually remember me.

Other reason is I just had a driver problem with my graphics card and I had no idea what to do like since Tech TV was aborbed into G4 I've become a tech moron.

It's sad, Morgan webb is being forced to give good games bad raitings when she's such a good tech person I learned alot from her when she used to talk about registry hacks on the Screen Savers.

I met her and Sessler a few years ago, Morgan is very shy you wouldn't think so but she is.

Morgan Webb is a slut, only reason why she still works there. They actually had some very good shows. Audiophile was great, Screen Savers, Tech Talk, and this other show that interviewed technology-centric ppl.

OMFG I miss that channel sooo much!!

The Morgan I met was pretty shy.

I think she's still with G4 becuase you know, XPlay was the only show that got ratings. then again you could be on to something when I met her she was staring at my crotch

The Only g4 show I really liked was Icons which they reformatted and changed the old episodes to Game Makers and rarely show them. Shit needs to be on XBLMP

Call for Help is on the DIY network in the US I think. If you dont get it, G4 Canada (Really its more tech tv or something still) turns their eye and allows for the CFHTracker to exist :)

    I'll take a look.

You know Leo Almost got me thrown in a Federal Prison?

I made a message board post to the extent of not liking Joe Lieberman (for other reasons not the obvious) Somebody tampered with my post and changed it to something along the lines of I want to take him out with a sniper rifle. He rats me out to his friends at the secret service and 4 months later I'm visted by 2 unarmed lackys I was half asleep and had no idea what was going on.

Leo has apologized to me for the mix up. But still that's some heavy shit to put somebody though.

heh we have g4 techtv in canada, its rather different than the american g4, but we have alot of canadian tech content, theres shows that focus on just different podcasts, tech review shows, electric playground, reviews on the run, xplay, some anime, and even more tech shows...

..however we no longer have call for help, call for help was canned earlier this year, and remade into "the lab with leo laporte"...Call for help was exclusive to g4 techtv canada as it was owned by rogers telecommunications, which was filmed in toronto, however, from speculation, i believe laporte bitched about having to fly to toronto every month to film it, so they moved it to British Columbia (i believe he lives in Seattle, so its not too far) and renamed it "The Lab"

Ah I didnt know they were dropping CFH for the Lab, I thought it was a side project of sorts. I am pretty sure there was deal worked out for CFH to be on US cable in some form a while ago though..

the Lab has its own torrent tracker for us in the US though :)

yea, i remember almost every show, someone called in and asked if it would be on in the US....i think it had a short stint on g4 for i believe the first season...only thing with the "new" CFH was that the supporting members of the show barely lasted more than a season, it was actually a pretty good show, focused alot on linux, photoshop, mr. excel........damm i miss CFH

I enjoyed Icons until I saw an episode in 2005 on the Xbox 360 before it was released...it was then that I realised that their journalism, so to speak, was for sale. Haven't really watched G4 since...

It was even better before it as TechTV. It was called ZDTV in 99-01 or so and had even more from Leo Laporte, Pat Norton, James Kim, and DVorak on Silicon Spin.....ahhhhh, the good ole days.
