I need a Dreamcast Import Boot CD

Yes, unfortunatley so. That is why I bought the DC-X.
Recently, I did the Region-Changer mod on my DC and it works just fine

Yes, I meant NTSC games, I dont remember if the same happens with PAL games but most likely its the same

In that link a DC-IE is also mentioned, anyone tried this one?

EDIT: Tried it with 2 games, Sonic Adventures JPN worked at 60hz, Under Defeat just reseted the DC

 

I'm thinking I should just pay $100 for JP DC and be done with it. Give this one back to myfriend and get a US one for US games.....too much of a headache to get a working bootdisc when DC-X is unavailable.

 

If you have minimal soldering skills you can easily region-mod, or perhaps someone here is nice enough to make us an ISO of DC-X ? :icon_bigg

There's alot of price gouging going on. I found 1 Japanese DC on Ebay with like $55 shipping. Othersites have rare ones like the Hello Kitty and the Sakura Dreamcast but they're $200-300 I e-mailed Estarland asking if they could sell me their Karaoke Dreamcast sans Karaoke no answer yet.

yeah that's a big one also I need to beable to burn it in Nero.

 

It's burnable with the demo of DiscJuggler; the origional disc was PAL. Never tried it on a NTSC one. But its worth the try.

 

hmmmm well I'll keep it for now burn it when I get word that it worked. I like like 1 CD-R left and don't want to waste it on a disc tha tmight not work.

 

Ill try it in a few hours when I get home.

btw you can use an app called cdi2nrg or cdi2nero to convert the image
I could never get Discjuggler to burn properly so I always used this app whenever I got a CDI file

I just tried the Xploder demo, it ran Sonic Adventure JPN at 60hz but it doesnt run backups. Ill have to try my other DC imports but I dont think I have any capcom title besides Gigawing2
