Not in a gaming wise but in money wise.

My friends have been nagging me for days, months, years, decades to buy another XBOX 360 after my fourth one blew up my TV somehow. And i've never been good with saving money, at the moment i have 60 pounds and i need to save atleast 300 pounds to buy a 360 and get some decent stuff,

Does anyone have any good money saving ideas so i don't end up buying a 3rd SEGA saturn so i can mess it up by taking it apart.

Shouldn't you be able to get a replacement for your faulty 360 for free?

When you get paid, automatically set aside a certain amount, and don't touch it no matter what. Forget that you have it, don't work it into your budget.

I used to have a tough time saving becasue my family are like wolves, and they can smell it when I have extra money. Trick is you have to not tell them, pretend and act like you're broke.

and that also works very good for friends, because they can be bitches at times :D any spare dollar is holy, keep everything you do not need except the things you really need to buy (food and so on). just go down to a lower life for 2 months and you'll see how much you can save!

well, lower life sounds bad...i don't know your usual lifestyle, if it's drinking every weekend and spending much cash on luxury goods just take a few steps back ;)

Always save 10-20% of your paycheck. You'll be amazed how much you save for the future.

Save your paycheck and put it away in a bank ;)

As for cash for the 360, tell your friends to help you earn it. My buddy and I used to have yard sales and do odd jobs and sell things online to get up the money for new consoles and big purchases.

I expect you'd get more on ebay than you would from Game for trade in, even after fees

Just sell some stuff you don't need/use. Thats what I do every time I need money. Made about £500 in the last few weeks on ebay selling some unused stuff!
