I did the av mod first and foremost. It is a model 1 ntsc saturn. It had a sound issue so i was dissassembling and rewiring and i pull the solder pads from tp8 and tp3 from the motherboard. I attempted to repair multiple times, with either flickering screen or nothing. Also video interference in the audio. Now i was getting desperate and i was drilling the pad on tp8 (video) and after multiple light drillings, i went completely through. so now there is a hole through the motherboard at tp 8, if i try to fill with wire, i can get a little video but it flickers and is in no way right. this is using the stock av cable, not the new mod jacks.

Can this be fixed? is there another place to pull video so i can fix av mod? i am at a loss and quite pissed off, i shoulda just delt with the weird sound lol, now i cant even use normal cable effectiviely. tips?

Also money is VERY tight, the av jack were recyled from a dvd player, and i can find any saturn mobo at all or any consoles at a price i can afford right now :/

I already posted to your first post of the exact same topic. Why did you make another topic with exact same thing?

We'll let the mods merge or delete one of these threads but if you follow the trace of the TP8 and or the pin 8 of the AV Socket you should come to another component and solder a wire directly to that component to tap into the video. One thing to take note is that this Motherboard might be more that 2 layers and when you drilled through it you broke some internal connection to something but I could be wrong.
