I've got one reserved at my local HMV for collection on Friday, although I've got to work late that night as my project at work goes live OH: . Are they gunna be in short supply when they're released? Also, as I'm in Jersey I don't have to pay VAT, so I'll be getting one for only £153! - perhaps I could supply some cheap machines to you guys (just don't tell the tax man!)
It is distributed with composite cable. Component-cables will be available at release. Unsure about RGB but I think they will be available later.

I had to go to my office local (Leadenhall Market, where some of Harry Potter was filmed) this morning at 8 to pay in advance for my son`s one (xmas present) so they don`t shift it to someone else while I am away The games I am getting from my mates store as they are doing a sort of deal is Either GT Pro or Exite Truck for £20 as it comes with the wheel attachment and I love my gadgets Wii Play again as it comes with an extra controller and is only £30 when bought with a console. I have some more Virgin vouchers and some HMV coming soon so can get the others then
excite truck comes with the wheel attachment?? since when? i thought only 4x4 and GR pro , both from ubisoft, came with that piece of accessory.
Erm, it doesn't. You can't get HD on a TV through a SCART connection, only component cables or HDMI will do it.
New Zealand! I cam to the conclusion a while ago that this country hates Nintendo, yet there were several people at the opening last night, and 39% of voters on some random poll wanted a Wii for Christmas, whilst only 14% wanted a PSP and 20something% wanted an Xbox 360. I don't know what happened. Anyway, we have it now, but it doesn't get played until Christmas. I'm importing my own Japanese one next year. Oh, and our Wii Sports gets an actual case. Bwahaha. So does WiiConnect24 still kill systems?
Yup. Got mine. It totally owns!!!! We've been playing Wii Sports for the past 4 hours. Bowling is superb. Boxing is much fun (laughing at yer mates' girly punching). Baseball is hard! Tennis is OK, not great. Haven't tried golf yet. I'll post pics when I get home.
So I go to HMV first thing this morning only to find out that they've given my *reserved* Wii to some other punter! I can't believe it! They said I'd get it before Christmas, but can't confirm when..... Anyone else been screwed today?
