thx for the compliment, and i can assure you it's true. playing on real hardware with the real cartrige (or cd\gd\dvd\ whatever), boxe, map, manual and controller in your hands (you need to have alot of hands to do this, true. :smt043) on your sofa and you tv is so much better anyway, and you don't feel bad about the poor compagny (ea by exemple....eerrr, wait a minute) suffering from piracy not having your bucks (...heh, it sounds bad like that, but that's still true!:smt043), and it adds to your little collection. cahaz
This game looks pretty cool! I might get it this weekend or sometime. It reminds me of Doom 3 just a little bit, but it has outdoor areas, vehicles, and a mapmaker for online. (WHICH CAN MAKE OUTDOOR MULTIPLAYER MAPS, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) :smt1062 :-D :happyhap: :dance Gotta get it.
map maker for online? so bassicly it will be one of those games that you'll always need to download shitty maps in order to play on someone's server just like on ut:goty-ut03-04? most people are really bad at making maps, but they're still making some, you know?
Its hard to explain, if you never played Timesplitters Future Perfect. I don't know *much* about this game, but some guy on a forum about it said there are plenty of 'pre-made' maps. On TS3 you don't need to download the maps to play them, but you can to "have" them on your Xbox. I'm just a creative person so I like making stuff, especially FPS maps.
xbox demo I really didn't like the whole feel of the game at all, feels kinda like some cheap shit FPS like those EA bond games.
I can remember that last year I played the PC version on the E3... and that it was actually an XBOX version but it was running on the pc with keyboard/mouse.. pretty nifty stuff
When I posted this I was aware that it was only a few weeks or so before it was released. The developers that I got this machine from went into liquidataion/receivership some months ago. It was to see if someone had the facility to be able to advise how to take it from the hard drive and then send a copy to someone who could perhaps ascertain what code it was. Or even check in some way on the DeBug as to what version it may be. It looks quite complete....but someone may be able to check whereas I can`t as to what version it is. It may well be a 99.9999% complete version in which case...never mind....but it could be a 80% version which someone may be interested in. The same thing would apply to the STOLEN disk that I have. The disk has XBOX 8.58 on it...but I am not able to check on if this is a final review copy or again 70-80% complete.
This game looks pretty good, haven't played an FPS in awhile (Doom 3 on Xbox was the last one I believe, or maybe Star Wars Republic Commando) so hopefully it isn't dissapointing. Virtual Alan how is stolen. They had the intro movie playing in game crazy and it looked pretty bad....
