Ive finaly seen a Ferrari F355 arcade machine for sale!!! Looks soo pretty! I wanna have it in my room! :-( Costs tooo much for me! £4000! However i found somewhere cool to buy arcade machines in the uk!
Is that the one with three screens? There's actually one in perfect working order in a REALLY great arcade my girlfriend took me to the other day. (They've also got that Cel-Shaded motorcicle game by Sega, and most of their machines are Japanese.) It's SO cool. Too bad about the price, though...
Nice find But wrong forum, so moved. The problem is if you have £4000 to buy it, how would you fit it through the door?
It is a lovely cab. A place near me sold one a while back for about £3500 iirc..never knew this place existed and saw it late one night on a drunken walk home and went in the next day. I can ask if they can get any more if you like?
even at that price im all out! Im considering getting a shotting game under £1k... Now find me a F355 for 1k and ill do anything!
Ferrari 355 cabinet is awesome ( 4 Naomi boards ), three-screens,... Anyway, how much a Daytona USA twin cab costs in USA in Japan. I'm asking because the game is so popular, that i have seen a used one being sold for 15.000 Reais (6250 dollars). Of course the game is a moneymaker, but is that the commom price.
Daytona usa 1 costs here about $2400 and the daytona 2 twin $6800. Look at the prices on the link on the topic about suppliers in the uk.
a german store has the boardcages in stock for 400/800 euros.(daytona 1 and 2) i thought about buying the latter, but actually, the daytona 2 standard cab is just half the fun compared to the deluxe one already. now imagine me slapping that boardcage into my old war gods cab. even if i'd somehow manage to hack working controls together, im afraid most of the games appeal and sexiness would be lost that way.
Just once I want to play the 3 screen Ferrari F355...I'd die a happy man. I loved the DC port to death.
Have any of you ever played the game? In my opinion, it feels way too slow. Steering feels good, but it feels like you are going around 50 when the game says you are going 150. Oh, and the game cheats too
Just the DC version. Yeah, the sense of speed isn't what you'd expect, but given how touchy and uber-realistic the handling is, I can't imagine it being any faster. I mean, it's hard enough as it is even with all the various assists turned on.
The arcade is just great. 3 Screens, loud engine sound, clutch, ... Driving in Monza is just too much fun. And yes, the AI cheats
i laughed so hard when i saw your post. :smt043 what is your definition of everything, mate? i think you should define it a bit (not that it interst me though)
I was actually thinking about buying a 2 seat Sega Rally this weekend but when I went to check it out there was no way it was getting into my house. Sadly, I couldn't take it Daytona cabinets are pretty cheap. I have seen one sell for $500 with no PCB and about $1,200 is the going rate for a 1 player cabinet. 2 Player ones go for a bit more...
I just played this over last weekend at my arcade! It was the one player version with the huge ass screen, and lord, even THAT was huge! Such a fantastic game...I could play it forever!
To wet your appetites even further... Futuroscope in Poitiers, France has a dedicated Star Wars Trilogy cabinet with a screen that looked to be in excess of 30".... but it had terrible burn-in
Ah theres a starwars one on ebay always for sale... think might be like that one and its allways pretty cheap. Too bad i dont like star wars.
