what exactly are you looking for? the X3 BIOS to flash it? you need X3_3294.rar and as per readme:

IIRC that's how I flashed my X3 BIOS , it's been a long time...

I provided a link with the BIOS image, burn it in a cd, start X3 menu and with it just flash the image... if you can already burn from a CD that someone sends you then I don't see why you can't use the one I uploaded and burn a cd yourself...

 

I can't....I would use the disc to put the bios on the xbox, that's how Ive always done it. You just put the cd-rw with the bios on it in the xbox and it loads them up. I think it's called a cd bios load. I 've tried to burn bios that I've downloaded and I can't get it to work. You should have seen when I tried to get the Dreamshell sd loader downloader disc, man I couldn't figure how to shrink the files down to fit on a cd-r......it was bad. I only have nero and have know idea how to make them. But i sure thank you for talking to me and trying to help me.....if you can't that's okay i understand, I'll keep trying. Thanks

that's the guide I used several years back, I remember it now... it has instructions on how to create a cd or dvd bios disc , have you tried that specific guide yet?

it has instructions, you basically make a NON-MULTISESSION CDROM, you select it to FINALIZE , put the bios file in the root and "rename the X3 Bios manually to Bios.bin - IT HAS TO BE CALLED BIOS.BIN or the disc WILL NOT WORK"

I did it and it worked.....do i need the cromwell bios to load first before the disc I just burned.....thank u thank u you are such the man!

 

no, just burn the BIOS !!! you can't go wrong , even if you screw up , you power the xbox with power+eject and it loads a recovery bios

 

Okay I don't know if I got it right but I did get what youn sent me to burn to a disc. what is what you were calling bios.bin I just burn what was on there I didn't change any name to bios.bin so I might try it over again but hey your really helping me out.....i thank you

MAN...i have my PC so messed up with trying to download nero6 and other programs....My wifes pissed off. I about to say forget it and now I'll have to find someone to fix my PC.

Dont use CD-RWs either, use standard CD-rs, or DVDs really.

i want to thank you so much...you have helped me a lot! i went out and bought me a new lab top and downloaded a ftp program and now I just can download my bios this way. I like it and I'm still working on my skills but you were the person that keep helping and i wanted to just thank you. THANK YOU!
