    I would go to all the forums you usually frequent and tell everyone it's going up on Ebay, that way you garner some interest beforehand. Then I'd list it with a low starting price (say $500 or so) with a buy-it-now of however much you want for it, and do a quick 3 day auction. Chances are then it will be over and done with before someone could stumble on it and report you.

    TBH, as interested as I am, it's a bad time for me. Christmas is coming!

    Unless you're desperate, I'd probably hold off until the New Year if I were you - a lot of people will have other priorities now!
