At this point I'm unsure. I do not know if he'll send out separate packages or if will we need one point of contact to redistribute.

 

as i think there is a logistical advantage to send from russia to europe i (ofcourse) volunteer for resending then to one or seperate USA adresses.

 

He is not in Russia, he is in Kazahstan.

Actually I don't know, maybe he'll agree to send separately to Europe and US. He is using insured EMS, from what I recall.
First we need to make bulk order, then I will talk to him, and we'll decide what to do with shipment, and what would be cheaper.
BTW I would buy another one for me.

 

I'm going to have to pull myself out of the group buy. I was on stoneagegamer's website and these are instock. So I just purchased one. Its more than I wanted to spend but I get a little piece of mind ordering from them. I still hope this group buy pulls through.

Yea I too noticed the FZ-1 and the FZ-10 versions on stoneagegamer 2 months ago when I ordered my EverDrives but it never even dawned on me that they were the exact same pieces. The installation looks like it will be a huge PITA

 

If i buy this, i have to remove the cd drive? or can i use both?

 

No, you can not, you have to remove drive. Also in FZ-10 case you need to desolder one chip.

Ill be interested in one and could probably get a few more down for an order of a USB one, but it wont be till ive done a Everdrive group buy im doing on other sites (Retro gamer, Jamma+, Amibay).

Only problem is, can he deliver? (Im in the UK, but the group buy might end up including Europe)

So will the IDE ones be cheaper now people want to get the USB 200 for the USB is a little steep for me.
