Ah, the normal style earphones don't fit in mine which is why I have to get the smaller rubber ones. >_<; Also, make sure you keep your reciept for the Sennheiser headphones (and maybe part of the packaging). They're under a replacement warranty should anything break.
Good, just wanted to double-check with you while I remembered. They're quite good about general damage replacements to freak damage replacements (had a headset that the entire USB connector literally fell out of when I went to use it the first time to another that had a broken cable). So that's essentially why I tend to recommend Sennheiser stuff as mine has gone through a lot and it's taken quite a bit for them to break.
One of the only real good place on the internets to compare all kind of headphones: http://www.headphone.com/
I miss my old sennheisers.... Had them for about 3-4 years and they were fantastic. Odd problem too, the left speaker would crackle but after a bit they were fine lol! I got a pair of AKG headphones with the slidey volume thing, what a mistake! If you touch the slide (as in squeeze the tube) the sound changes. Pain in the arse if you lean on a desk. Next set will be sennheisers. I also prefer the standard in-ear phones as cramming those little buds in my ear doesn't sound fun to me (probably stems from when I copped ear infections as a boy). Guy at work uses the warranty well, after 16-18 months the headphones fail and he goes in and gets a new set.
