    Guys, this really isn't something worth arguing about. Whether they spawn endlessly or are finite, it's inconsequential, so please don't derail this thing with another argument.

    Well they might not "respawn" but they definitly "spawn" out of thin air, and what is the definitive number because i have stood there for up to 20 minutes Killing them and they just kept on coming.

    I have and that's not what happened every time i did it, there might be more to it maybe something that's triggered jumping through the rooms or something else because i could make a video showing the exact opposite of his video.

    Been having some fun with this build over the past few days... still almost doesnt seem real, after all this time im still in disbelief that im actually playing 1.5 in some form. Eagerly awaiting the finished build from the team. Is it just me.... or are most of the backgrounds in this build "watermarked" in some way? Almost looks like there are portions of pictures where they slightly changed the colors, or is this just some emulation problem im experiencing? using ePSXe, and every other RE game i have tried on said emulator doesnt have this problem.

    I haven't noticed this myself but in all honesty I haven't had much of a chance to play alot of it yet. I did remember reading a post from MRBZORK at one point talking about watermarking there release. I think they were saying the one the guy tried to sell ( the reason we got the release) contained there watermarks. So I wouldnt be surprised if there was. They have added in a few other little bits and bobs here and there too. Still probably a lot of stuff to find!

    Patched John and Sherry playable models with the more detailed later textures from the enemy / cutscene models.

    The image isn't encrypted at all it's just had it's lba file refrences removed so they can't easy be pulled out via a image reader. The refrences for SYSTEM.CNF, PSX.EXE and README.TXT are still left in.

    Admittedly, it has been unexpectedly quiet - Everyone's still enjoying the build quietly, and, while we haven't heard of any large discoveries buried deep within the image, it's good to know the surface-level stuff has kept everyone entertained. Indeed, it's been great to experience the spider-monster coming out of the floor grating as well as the infamous Burkin battle in the warehouse. When there's more news, we'll all have something to celebrate, but it has been great to know that the cycle of broken 1.5 promises has finally been broken. There's still plenty to hope for, like one of the more complete builds or an unmodified version of the 40% build, but at least fans have something.

    Is there more than one version out "in the open"? Unless I am missing something the one I downloaded doesn't have nearly as much as what some of you are talking about. For example the jump feature in the debug menu (Elza) only gives me access to

    You need to hit another button to access the other areas, it moves it from map 1xx to 2xx and beyond :p
