Info about Resident Evil 1.5

Since I posted these scans from some old issues of Famitsu I have over on THIA earlier, figured I might as well do so over here as well.

There's some extra angles I hadn't seen over on Bioflames as well, so just something else to have a look at as I highly doubt we'll see any extra screens or information.

Oh, don't worry about getting updates. The guy has certaintly disappeared off the face of the earth the moment this topic was revived with new "evidence". No wonder after all, given how the Resident Evil fanbase behaves in general; we'll never hear a thing from him anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised. More-so since I've seen how badly they behave across multiple communities, how many fakes or images that have been faked and other things that show up.

But it also goes with Borman's slight rant about entitlement issues (which I can certainly see in the community, if this is the same Borman I see over on THIA from time to time) about how they react to the slightest bit of information.

I'm all fine with donation drives and the like to ensure the best outcome for all involved with getting things or releasing information - but I certainly wouldn't start demanding/harassing/threatening people over it. It's just a bloody game.

Anyway.

As for the scans - thank you, there were fat zombies in the prototype builds and from the footage of the most complete build that Kim from BioFlames got, there were also supposed to be female zombies too and the dogs were later changed from German Shepherds to Doberman from what I can tell.

I don't know if Irons turned into a zombie or what, but what I can say for certain is that I'm quite sure the artwork and models are just of normal zombies to balance out the "fat officer" stereotype against some more fit looking ones.

Kind of weird how they cut the fat zombies and the female ones out of retail RE2 but they showed back up in RE3...

I probably have some more articles on the prototype build of 2, but I have a few more piles of old Famitsu issues to go over to see if there's anything of interest (Clock Tower related) for my own site-in-progress. ^^;

 

Let's keep the mystery, please... it's better to go anonymous. You're right, don't show anything.

Actually I should do it because of the post-popular moment in a determined site... Let's get it straight then: I don't have the copy and I just know that it will be released because a friend of mine sent me pictures and news to be divulged. Peace

I received a friend request from someone unknown and two private messages to people not associated with this... The RE fanbase is something scary.

A little offtopic, but I have to say that PlaystationMuseum's new design of his website is really shitty. Nothing personal etc., but that's the truth.

The guy said in the discussion he doesn't have the game, so I doubt he can share more than just a few useless screenshots. Still, I can see rabid fans going all like this:

im glad for anything about the Resident Evil franchise as #2 got me back into gaming and im a zombie nut so its good all round, however the whole hassling people and making threats etc to anyone who says they may have it is one of the darker sides of being a Resident Evil fan but sadly something we have to deal with

 

Well, I never expected to see this today, always nice to get some new info! I like that picture of Elza and Kendo, I don't recall seeing that background before. It's probably for the best that they remain anonymous though, no need to draw unwanted attention to them selves.

 

With useless I was referring to these cases of persecution when a few new screens emerged to the public. It's not like some pictures are going to make the game ISO magically materialize.
