Info about Resident Evil 1.5

With how much work has apparently gone into bringing this game to release so far, I don't think they'll cancel it just due to internet bickering. And anyone with prototypes should fully expect stuff like this to happen, got to just be smart and not let it get to you. HOPEFULLY they're know this and all will be fine.

Instead of getting pissed at others adding to the shitstorm and telling everyone to stop, how about we just move on and don't bother complaining anymore? /too optimistic

It will get released eventually, just sit back and ignore the little bumps in the road.

 

AND for fuck sake, i'll just go ahead and say it now for the sake of people being so scared that Mr B. Zork might get mad and never give us the disc! The guy who owns the original disc is an ASSEMbler regular on here, and one who has been after 1.5 way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay long before many of us have. He of all people deserves to have the original disc in his hands. If Mr. B Zork does decide to be a dick, and go dark, SO LET 'EM! BAI! That won't stop this build from getting released. Apparently Mr. B Zork has done a great job at brainwashing THIA into believing he has the ONLY COPY. OH AND WHADAYA KNOW??? All these assholes who made it their priority to bash me consistantly and repeatedly ARE ALL FROM THIA!!!

Now ... While I currently own THIA, since the former owner and mod here on ASSEMblerGames;Dot50Cal left the scene, I don't generally approve of their behavior, but THIA's community has been pretty central in the acquisition and release of quite a lot of stuff in the past

- and one of the most notable cock ups on the RE community's end would be how all the public drama and trust issues going around back in 2007 was undoubtedly one of the main contributing factors to how we didn't acquire 1.5 back 5 years ago. While we pretty much were on the top of our game as far as providing the community, in a professional manner, plenty of previously unreleased media in various forms from various titles. So it's not without reason people get a bit jumpy when someone's pretty much repeating the exact same mistake that happened back then - when the totally wrong people were entrusted with sensitive material and carelessly threw it around in public, claiming it's "for the best", "in people's interest" or "people have the right to know" (or just straight up making trades/deals without actually having any ownership of their end of the bargain) - when most cases doing stuff like that ultimately hurts the community in the long run.
Anyone who's ever used to kick ball in the park knows that you play by the rules of the kid who owns the ball.

I just don't understand why people just can't be happy with the new info we have been provided with from the youtube videos.
next update said it was going to be at christmas time. just go about your normal lives and before you know it , it will be christmas time , it's not like christmas is far away. With 1.5 some people really spoil it for themselves and everyone else, there is always someone out there that will spoil it , I just hope knowone uses rude and abusive comments to the team editing the 1.5 game, they don't have to do this for us , they didn't have to show us the 2 new videos on youtube. Ive been a fan of 1.5 since I was a Child and with the game seeming to be getting closer and closer I think people get over excited and impatient, but if we have waited years for this game then whats a few months ? I really hope people don't wreck this for everyone.
Lets just try and enjoy what we have been given and just wait for official updates.

Thank you for responding to my questions about how to use the ISO when it is released.. About this, though, my concern about Mr. B Zork vanishing forever is that it would effect the release, not of the original game, but the release of the completed custom/mod version, the bastardized version you talked about. If B. Zork gets mad and decides to punish the community or dissapear altogether, would that effect the release of the complete version made by the Team?

 

Absolutely 0. This guy IS like a needle in a haystack when it comes to "the team."

im not trying to jump on your band wagon, it just really bothers me how you are being treated. and for giving out info we were all wanting to know.

more info may have come out if everyone wasn't bashing this guy. this project has too much momentum to be stopped by any internet bickering. even i could see that. look how much they put into it.

 

Some of the folks on here are going absolutely psychotic and blitzkrieg on Willis. It's totally unmerited and I'm surprised no admin or moderator has intervened to stop their rampage, trolling and slander. The reaction really is crazy. Gman Willis has addressed every question I've posed, though, and I'm thankful for that. It's sad that folks like Aleff try to inform the community that they blocked Gman Willis, nobody should care who Aleff blocks and nobody asked for Aleff's blocked user list.

 

Let THIA have their fun. They're just proving to everyone else what a unstable immature community they are. None of them have obviously taken the time to actually read everything that was said from page 57 to now, or they would have a much different opinion. They obviously missed the part about my information being from an AIM friend, and not Mr. B Zork himself, and I was never raped with "THIS IS CLASSIFIED INFORMATION!" or "CONFIDENTIAL STUFF BRO!" lectures. I was just passing on what I heard to further help the community understand, and this is what happens. smh. It's unfortunate, but some people are just too quick to judge.

From this point on, now knowing the severity of what is at stake from spreading information, even if it was leaked before me and I simply just passed it on, I WILL NOT be disclosing any more information on RESIDENT EVIL 1.5, or the TEAM developing around it. I only hope the others "in the know" who have taken it upon themselves to keep the flow of information, will do the same as well, for this will prove very beneficial in the long run. Good day.
