I've seen first screenshots of Resident Evil 1.5 on italian magazine about videogames, it was a beautiful sunny morning at school.

 

After 1.5 is released, all that remains is 3.5. Then the community will move on!

 

Me too, the magazine I've seen it for the first time was probably the official PlayStation Magazine. I was kinda disappointed when I noticed the retail game didn't look anything like the screenshots in there, especially because I kinda liked Elza more than Claire.

 

Yeah I'm pretty hyped as well! The more we see the better it's looking!

planing to play 1.5 in a retro way in my panasonic 27 inch flat CRT tv s-video my does have nice sound - PSX 1 1000 model and PSX blue Debugging Station

 

Yeah, maybe I'll skip the modded PS1 and play on my Yaroze PS1 instead..

 

epsxe, ill do a leon and elza playthrough with stock psx graphics then turn on the high resolution textures and some super good shaders and watch the characters come to life

no, some team will have to make the few rooms or whatever it really is into a playable game, then the community will move on. the bar has been raised.

 

It's unreal that something playable is really about to drop. I still recall buying RE 2 back in '98 and having to go back to the store because they gave me 2 disc 2's.

14 years, man. I've got my 32" Sony CRT, RGB & chipped PS1 on standby for this event!

Well, besides that one set of rooms seen in the gameplay video (which probably ran on a dev station and not real hardware) ... there really never was anything stable/playable for 3.5 ... sooooo ... Yeah, you'd need wizardry to fix that one for sure, if you wanted to play it and not just look at a pile of files 99.99% of these communities can make heads from tails from ;D
