sounds like the taxaco truck driver was supposed to be in the game, maybe this was the beginning of the game, and then the concept was recycled in the streets.

 

Well, Leon starts on the roof of the Police Station, while Elza starts on the ground floor of the Police Station. Nevertheless, a interesting thought regarding the driver from the intro of the final game. There may be a connection indeed...

I've been following these Resi 1.5 threads on Assembler each and every time they surface. Sadly, while I can't contribute too much to the discussion nor whereabouts of any remaining code, these threads are by far one of the most interesting reads on the web. Thanks to everyone taking the time to post the screenshots and videos too, really insightful and fantastic to see.

To echo everyone else's thoughts though, it's just astounding that after all this time a copy of the game hasn't surfaced yet. I'll live in hope too!

i think its fake, or somehow john managed to find some kind of vaccine/drug like the zombrex to repel the virus for some time, in the reality john died in the mansion, it was first shown in the comic, and then cannonized in the resident evil remake, with a gamecube reader in the room that you find him.

 

According to NewsBot (ProjectUmbrella), whom originally posted this information, this isn't correct. John, Elza's sub-character, and the John from RE1 and supposedly behind-the-scenes in 1.5 are -not- the same character. Whoever posted this up on wikia must not have seen the post where he clarified this. It came from some JP BH2 guide that has an interview/questions that is just recently been translated.

As for the crashed truck in the UMB Warehouse/Packaging Facility, it's probably just part of the background with no special scene or anything. Likely a coincidence. This area is halfway through the game reached after traversing the sewers.

The G-Annette stuff is interesting though. Dunno if it made it past concept though. No evidence to suggest it made it into 1.5, since Annette is still human on the train in the end according to Inflames screenshots. But who knows? Still enough unknown info about the game.

 

I couldn't seem to find a screen shot of Annette on the train anywhere on bioflames. Private?

 

You know I never really took a good look at the bioflames art archive for 1.5 until now, and I found this picture particularly very VERY interesting.

From Left to Right is, Joseph Frost, (Resident Evil 1, S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team, died in beginning fmv by zombie dogs.) Roy, (Guessing from bits of information that he is a Rookie R.P.D. Cop.) Chris Redfield, (S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team, main protagonist in Resident Evil 1 and so on, you know the rest.) and finally Forest Speyer (S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team, found dead in the upstairs balcony of the mansion in Resident Evil 1.)

So... what can this picture mean?? It was obviously drawn art for an important reason. Video game art always has something to do with the story. My guess is Roy was pretty tight with the S.T.A.R.S. unit. From all the information i've collected, he definitely couldn't be S.T.A.R.S.

Very very curious to see how far this picture really goes as far as the 1.5 mysterious story.

Trust me, hardcore Resi fan here since I was 6. xD You have a question, i'll do my best to find an answer.

 

actually it is John body that was turned Robert Kendo in resident evil 2. He was not Kendo in 1.5.

 

Are we talking about the PSMuseum Curator or someone else?

Excuse me if it is a little offtopic, i found something interesting after ripping the backgrounds off the PSX RE2 Leon Disc.

Everyone who played through Resident Evil Zero will recognize these (scrapped) backgrounds...













I wonder if these were originally intended for 1.5. The images that 'follow' are alternative renders of the train-platform and renders of the lab that were originally intended for 1.5. Unfortunately i cannot get on the Bioflames board to share a link to that.

 

Pretty sure those are from scenario B.... You encounter Mr. X in that room in the last few pictures.
