I wonder whether they sought permission from the copyright holders. You'd think that they would, but you never know!

 

Doesnt seem like it. But the whole archive is technically illegal, they dont seek permission from copyright holders to back up the web content.

 

It's not the first site to do this, and doubt companies would care about such a thing.

 

^ Maybe for the really old stuff. But I was kinda shocked to see stuff like PSX sets there, Sony are still trying to sell some of those games.
