who has one? Is it nice? Good to use? I was thinking of getting one. couldnt wait another 12 months or so for it to arrive in my country.
I was tempted (when they eventually come out here), but would rather get an iPod touch now and keep my existing phone.
oh my god.. i was hoping if i decided to buy someone here can help me get it and ship to me. haha.. and of coz i'll pay.
02 just won the right (i.e. paying lots to Apple) to distribute iPhones in the UK. Apparently they'll retail at £270.00.
In the states, you buy just the phone then sign up for a contract online. Recently, the phone was unlocked via some clever hacks. So, you can run down to AT&T, or the apple store and just buy the phone - then use a sim from any carrier you like. I <3 my iphone
18mnth contract, min £35/month. I'll get one just as soon as I can have MSN messenger, 3G and a camera equal to or better than my k800i's
Nope, you actually have to modify the hardware itself on the iphone, it is not a simple software hack/switch like the typical cell phone.
from my understanding there are two types of unlock. hardware and software. Software is easier to do but they say hardware is tedious but better. I'm not very sure though but at my place no1 do hardware unlock. Just softwares.
Last time I checked it was only possible to hardware unlock the phone, but it's probably no longer the case (it was a month ago when I last read about it)
it's a sick phone, but keep in mind it's still new, so there's gonna be a ton of problems with it at first. plus it's expensive, and when you're in the sun you cant see the screen since the reflection of the sun makes only your fingerprints visible. sick phone nonetheless
