Yeah, why can't summer go on forever?... Okay, education is important I understand but it's just that I'm such a fail when it comes to certain aspects of math and I struggle to stay awake in social. So... yeah... just thought I'd say what I felt about the end of summer.

All the seasons have their charm to me. I like summer because my birthday is in August and I like swimming and staying out late with only a t-shirt on. I like fall because of the leaf colors and the great light for taking photos. I like winter because I like skiing and snow in general, if it didn't snow it wasn't a real winter to me. And finally I like spring because I find it amazing to watch all the trees and flowers come to life again, the miracle that is nature.

Sure, I'd like for summer to go on longer, but I'd miss cold winters too much If I was to relocate I guess. I imagine celebrating Christmas in Australia for example, the candles melting when not even lit... strange sight, and I'm not really sure that I could get in the season spirit. But I'd enjoy water sports for sure :encouragement:

I can't wait for this hot ass summer to end , when it gets over 110 degrees outside it's quite miserable. Plus the fall and winter save me a crap load of money when the a/c isn't being used. :D

I've never liked Spring or Summer, Autumn and Winter are my favourite seasons.

Moved to a new town where the average temperature right now is 70°F in the morning, 90+ in the afternoon and if I'm lucky by 10pm it has cooled down enough to justify opening the windows. The air conditioner in my apartment only cools the living room and it is so loud that I can't hear the TV without turning it up which is fine and dandy if movies didn't emphasis drama by raising the volume of music really high. On Monday I get to see who my professors are for the rest of the semester and if I even like them.

I'm praying that with the financial aid I'm getting I'll be able to afford 100% of my expenses until August of next year as my current schedule strongly prohibits any sort of employment (Monday, Wednesday, Friday packed with classes until 6pm and Tuesday/Thursday until about 1pm with the weekends free from class).

So no, I can't say I'm too bummed. It'll be great when the average high is under 70.

I don't like summers much. At least here in Germany where there are little to no air conditioned places.
Looking forward to the better seasons now.

I like summer here, it's much nicer than back at home where it can get very humid and hot or cold and rainy. I kinda want it to end so I can start Japanese again and be back together with my gf though, such a long separation sucks.

I like summer, but this one in particular has gone by way too fast.

I'm done with summer, really. I enjoy it while it's there, and then by late July/august I'm dying to get back into the swing of busy life.

I like summer only because it's garage sailing season, otherwise it couldn't end soon enough! I live in the northwest US for the gloomy, overcast weather, but we haven't had rain for a few weeks now.... Bring on the cloud cover! And a bit of snow in the winter is always amazing.

It's a shame, I love the long and light days. Thankfully we had some great weather for the last weeks (after all).

Well this summer I found out that my diabetes is slowly blinding me, that the panasonic q I have been after for 7 years is actually a dull disappointment, I got a sinclair spectrum, only to find that it was totally fucked, the one week the weather was actually nice I caught the sun and have had excruciating sunburn ever since and to top it all off, I've had relentless hayfever since april. On the other hand i'm dreading going back to uni too. So swings and roundabouts I guess.

Lol what a cheery 500th post
