Is anything even remotely interesting going on at TGS?

Because I've heard NOTHING. Just companies showing off things we already know about.

Had Japan gotten so insignificant that NO game announcements are made there?

Times are changing Back in the day JAPAN RULED now if a Game stays in japan it's probably becuase it sucks.

Playable demo of Mushihime-sama Futari. In other words, not enough reason to go. The Amusement Show last week sucked ass as well, it seems.

Yep... Gran Turismo to be released in March 2010 (Japan). I guess it's good news, apparently the game is 65% done, which explains the terrible damage system, no reverse lights and skidmarks (both of these two never made it on the series!)

Hope they fix these issues, and if it's possible better AI.

There was no Mistwalker announcement, so yeah, TGS was a complete waste.


Well, OK, Mistwalker was showing off the new Blue Dragon for DS that comes out in 2-3 weeks. Whoop-dee-fuckin-doo. I will never understand why Sakaguchi hasn't grasped the fact that the sales of Blue Dragon(Xbox360) in Japan ALONE are greater than the sales of all of his DS games COMBINED WORLDWIDE.

 

No new Mega Man game yet.

I'm sick of the damn battle network and star force games. I want some more 2D side scrolling action or another legends game!

This generations "Mega Man fans". They are crazy about the Battle Network and Star Force games. Even if they did another remake like Powered Up 2 or Maverick Hunter X2 I'd be happy. :banghead:

 

I heard about info about more stuff in Street Fighter IV to be release there..

 

I don't know ANYONE who likes those, the younger mega man fans I know would rather play X.

 

Actually, a good friend of mine has been a huge Mega Man fan since the very first one, like, borderline obsessed with the series, and he loved the Battle Network games.

However, I don't think he cared much for the Star Force or whatever games. And he might have hated Mega Man Legends.


Though now that I think about it, it was my fault he got into the Battle Network games, because I hyped him up for that 2D sidescroller they made based on the series on Gamecube, and from there he got into the handheld games. Though I never played a traditional Battle Network until later on when he got me the DS one for Christmas. :lol:

 

God that Gamecube Megaman was horrible.

I'm not crazy about the much similar X8 either

 

If you hadn't played the series since X4 and were oblivious to Battle Network it was kinda cool. I just enjoyed fighting old Mega Man enemies again. :shrug:

x4 is probably my favorite of the X games

 

I was hoping for a new Ace Combat sequel on the 360. Sega's lineup looks promising at any rate, though they hardly have any surprises up their sleeves.
