A while back I bought a Model 2 Saturn off eBay and the lid Open button always acted janky. I now suspect it was repaired - rigged, possibly with non OEM parts. Can someone confirm this from the pic? I looked around but couldn't find any pics to compare.

Too out of focus to really tell but it looks legit to me. Might just need some lithium grease in there.

My 10 yr old camera just sucks. That was the best out of 10 shots! LOL

The plastic the right screw goes into (one spring and lever pivot from) broke and needs glued. But even with everything in place the button seems wiggly and doesn't work very smoothly. Maybe that's just normal? This is my first Saturn so I have nothing to compare it to.

I can wedge a little piece of folded paper in the lid's gap to keep it closed and I still have it set to read discs with the lid open from before I got my modchip, so everything functions. I'm just nitpicky and hope to fix it properly.

It looks perfectly normal to me - here is a photo of one of my (JP) Saturns.

Thank you very much for the pic. I'm going to get some better super glue and try again.
