I once took the last Yamanote sen and that was really an unique experience (and an intimious one as well - close body-contact to elderly salarymen! -_-).

The only time I had to take such an overcrowded train was when 1 of the 2 regular waggons was broken and the whole mass of passengers in the best rush hour morning had to press inside one single car.
