Is there any PKMN games on the snes ( hack, pirates.. ) ?

Hello, I lack of gameboy and nintendo DS console and I wonder if it's can be possible for an hacker to make an orignal pokemon game ( example pokemon yellow ) in a snes cartridge in order to play with an snes console ? I got to admit my budget is slightly low these days and it looks just far better to play a pokemon games on your big tv screen than on a little pocket game..

I know there's a lot of pirates pokemon games on the gameboy advance, but I just hope there's some on the snes 'cause I wanna play it on !

    thanks for help

All the Game Boy Pokemon game (R,B,Y G,S and I believe C also) can be played on a SGB. The first five for sure.

You can pick up a Gameboy for around $10, and pokemon yellow for $20-30. I know you want a budget so maybe you could get a PSP and play the ROMs.

There is pokemon pirate games for the NES, but I doubt for the Super Nintendo... There are pirate versions of the pokemon series on all gameboy platforms.

thanks guys for infos. What I don't understand is why they maked pokemon pirates games on the nes when you can't save on a nes cartridge ? according to what I know, it's only on snes that you were able to save ( starting snes and next consoles ). Thats why I was asking on a snes.

but a super gameboy will only display like almost no color like the game boy pocket, isn't it right ? would be awesome to find any gb-gbc pokemon pirate roms.. I heard there's pokemon brown that exists... there's also pokemond diamond and jade ( kentai denjuu telefang ) but that's not pokemon.

so yeah, I'll let you know what I've come up with soon. thanks guys and girls

nes saves weren't common. only certain big or long games offer it. zelda, kirby, etc.

often pirates don't bother with saves. so you've probably noticed some fake pokemon cartridges lack the battery.

well classic gameboy mode was more "shades" than quite colors. the first gameboy applied games to a green screen. then gameboy pocket changed to gray.

super gameboy games are usually limited color. it's an improvement over the original.
super gameboy could go beyond gameboy color, but that requires using 16bit snes mode. very rarely happened. except for space invaders.

(this means correct emulating a super gameboy must run gameboy and snes together. most skip snes parts, instead only loading super gameboy colors and borders. making things like the super gameboy menus not work.)

gameboy color with super gameboy combo doesn't exist official. nintendo never released it. but emulator writers were able to break standards and create it in a pirate sense.
