This is pretty much true. Something ingrained into Japanese women. Western women bitch that "chivalry is dead". It's the hos over here that have killed it. That's probably why the country is so lax on extra-marital affairs.

I actually had a good idea for a small essay or really long blog. Basically would look at the idea of "commitment" in modern day Japan.

Things that require a commitment:
-apartment leasing (by you and a trusting friend)
-your job
-just about anything in writing (IE, it costs me about 80,000 yen in forms to change my business address)

Things that don't:
-Most peoples marriages. Different world over here. I don't have one of those for the most part. I'm quite sure I'd get my cock cut off if it went in another woman's orifice, but work wins over family just about any time...especially if it's during the week.
