Awesome collection! I'm a big fan of the Tales series myself

 

For some reason I was under the impression that Tales of Fandom was not part of the Tales series.

 

the Tales series have many offshots. Im not sure its worth to play. Unlikely title like rebirth or hearts jp only. Most of my stuff was a first big package from yahoo.jp. The prices on ebay for japanese To title are insane.

Also Tales of Fandom V1 has two versions, red and green.

Hey! A fellow "Tales"-collector

I've not really updated my collection in like 6-7 years (sans adding the recent EU releases to my collection);

Image of game collection
Various promo/bonus discs 'n' stuff

I've still got some duplicates of some of the promo discs and stuff. (Also, that Tales of Destiny preview sampler has two variants that are genuinly different, yours is the Famitsu Wave version, which has a video not featured on the other variant -- The two different versions of Fandom vol. 1 are different discs too, not just cover/label art variants. Not sure if this applies to vol. 2 on the PS2 too)

Interesting there are two different versions of the ToD preview out there.
Its really hard to find re/preview stuff or even betas from tales Of series...

But also hard to find the ToX Famitsu DX pack with teepo -.- . Im looking yahoo.jp every week but...

Also nice collection you have. Possible you make a thread with detailed pictures too?

 

I recently moved, so a lot of stuff is still in boxes and not unpacked yet (still don't know how to display my Tales Collection at my new home) -- but I can surely take some better pics once I get myself rigged up properly. I've got some duplicates of some of the promo discs, so once I've got myself settled in and everything's rigged up, I might be able to help you fill some gaps in your collection

Also, prototypes are indeed hard to stumble upon. A friend of mine used to have some US review NR discs for ToS on GC, but that's about all I've ever seen ... along with someone who was selling some review/preview copy of Eternia/Destiny II on these forums a few years back (iirc).

I got the US ToS CE, but man I got bad luck, it's supposed to have the 5 Nenodroid'like character figures. But mine came with 2 Collettes instead of Marta+ the cat. And the 4th soundtrack disk was loose even when it was sealed >_>

I wonder if there were any issues with the UK/EU CE considering it's kind of lamer than the JPN/NA one.

I never heard about such irregularities. The NTSC/US ToS ce is the best version i think.
But ok, i not put the figures out of the box. The pal version is smaller, not coloured and so...
You also a Tales of collector?

This is a fantastic collection you have here. Just out of curiosity Do you happen to have anything signed from Hideo Baba? You have quite a lot of very hard to find Tales of related memorabilia. My hat goes off to you mate. Also I am a big Tales of Fan myself. Personal fav is hands down Tales of Destiny ps2 =P

 

Is there more pre/view "Tales of " stuff on PS3 than the 3 PAL promo version you have ?

I'm checking this trade some times to times to see how your collection is growing because I'm also collecting Tales stuff. And decided to register because you caught my attention.

 

I never meet Mr Baba but will be a plasure. Yes ToD is one of my favorites too.

Only the PSP or the wii preview you see on top. Very hard to find re/preview stuff :-(
