Yeah, I've noticed both types, I think it depends on the type of store they are in more than anything. All the Wal-Marts I've been to have them bolted down, which makes sense seeing as the electronics department is unsupervised making it easy for someone to steal the controller. Almost all the gaming shops around me have the loose controller though. And the whole "freaking american shits" comment kinda pissed me off... I know we've got our problems here and not everyone in the world likes us, but that was uncalled for, especially over a stupid video game controller of all things.
Actually Toy's R Us say that they will havestock all the way up till Christmas. Some how I don't beleive them Yakumo
Last I heard, no. The game wasn't far enough along to include. They were supposed to pack in the media remote instead. I may be wrong though...anything change recently?
Last I heard FFXI is still comming with the unit as there has been advertisement and all that jazz to promote it being avalible. I'm in montreal but before you go crazy. I am american (and from california). When I mean "american shits" I mean the little kids who freaking destroy everything and mess it up for the rest of us. Pretty much the same ones who make DS touch screens unreadable by scraching it up with stupid stuff (i've heard many reports of people using their keys on the demo units to play them). Anyways here localy the "official" display units are bolted. Futureshop who useses a different setup does not have them bolt down but yet I prefer going to EBGames then futureshop (atleast for games). -- AGAIN FOR EVERYBODY -- I AM ALSO AMERICAN. I JUST HATE FREAKING KIDS/ADULTS WHO BREAK EVERYTHING AND MESS IT UP FOR THE REST OF US!!! -- EDIT -- Also I said american because when I was in california they were always destroyed to high hell. Here in montreal it's no where as bad as it was in california (at worse i've only seen a ds or two scrached to hell but usualy most controllers work a-ok).
oddly the targets just kinda have a custom display of it sititng out there. In which the contorllers are loose to use, if anyone wants i can take pics of the 3 various setups here in the us, one including teh same as the japanese set up.
