Japanese Import Pc Gaming

Have you checked out the Chinese & Korean PC games by anychance yet? If not i recommend seeing them whenever you get the chance ;-)

 

I did see a few that looked cool but i prefer Japanese released games.i wouldn't touch Chinese games as in the past the only ones Ive played sucked.

 

Perhaps but games like "Battle Europe", Legend of Heroes, The Legend of Sword & Fairy, & Sango Fighters 1 & 2 are actually quite nice Chinese MS-DOS games also Korean titles such as like "Twins", Protocross, Yojeong Jeonsa Dwijuk, The Romance of Forgotten Kingdom & Fox Ranger 1, 2 & 3. You should def check those games out whenever you get the chance!

What japanese pc games do you collect if any at all.

 

@rod_wod none sadly sorry just mostly only console type games to tell the truth but a few of them PC games looks superb though! The PC-9801 & FM-Towns are the only few i know so far only.

I should someday and speaking of Japanese PC games have you ever seen this site before? http://www.amusement-center.com/project/egg/index.cgi It's a awesome place to buy many of the retro Japanese PC games like MSX2, PC-8801, PC-9801, FM-Towns, FM-7, etc...! but for actual Windows XP Japanese games i'mma see what they have real quick for ya.

Yeah that would be cool but you could always try the super famicom release.
but you will never find a japnaese pc download.

 

It's been a very long time I searched some informations about Japanese PC Games.......Most of the time, when I founded something, that was on Touhou or Adult Games (and I'm not a great fan of Touhou Games, even if I love Shmups' Games.....for the Adult Games, that's not exactly what I search, I search non-hentai Games in particular.....)

It's very difficult to find some informations about these Games on Internet : I should write Games' name in Japanese for finding some useful informations (what a shame I don't understand very well Japanese even if I play some Japanese Games......).

So, here I've found : the old Japanese Company which have released some PC Games are Falcom (known for Eiyuu Densetsu, Ys.....), TGL (you've put one of their Games Warlocks in one of your pictures......).......I'm sure there should have more companies than my little list......

And here some Games I've found (but no owned unfortunately) :

Angelic Vale (there are 3 Games)


Blue Blaster (Kogado Studios)


Cross Hermit


Eiyuu Densetsu Sora no Kiseki

Sweet collection! I wish there was a good definitive list of japanese localizations out there somewhere. Gamefaqs and mobygames are a good start but they cant always be relied on to see if there was a japanese release or not.

 

I search a complete Japanese PC Games' list since (without counting Hentai Games and Touhou......)......; all I've found is some Japanese PC Games' reviews (in Japanese of course ). If someone have some links .....

In fact, Gamefaqs has sort of Japanese PC Games' list, but with all PC Games' which are released since ......(I've taken some Japanese PC Games' pictures on Gamefaqs .....). And Mobygames has a little list of Japanese PC Games.....

Yeah, a lot of consoles Games are released on PC in Japan : I search the other Games of this collection : PC ゲームBESTシリーズ Vol. ......

 

I will post some new finds soon.

 

I play games from there sometimes, that's where I played the Hydlide remakes, I think that's the only Windows soft they have on that site. Cool thing though is that you can download the instruction manual scans for most games and read the story and instructions.

 

Oh really?! they give out manuals? are they translated by anychance or is it just the original Japanese ones but just scan'd for each game release? Nice to hear they do that!
