    Guys,

Sadly i won't be dumping the cart, there are interested parties in the cart, its not exactlly my sort of thing. I'd rather see a genuine collector have fun with it and enjoy it for what it is than it sit in my collection.

With regards to videos, if i get abit of time i may try and do one, though don't expect the quality to be anything amazing lol.

The cart is genuine, it came to me directly with some other dev items i have aquired so rest assured it is not a pirate cart, i'm sure if pirate carts with hacked up games existed of JFG, there would be information on them somewhere on the internet.

With regards to the questions on sound, yeah there is sound, it actually seems somewhat complete in terms of sound and menus. I don't know how far you can play through the game however and i don't intend to try and find out myself, its jut not my type of game. Though i suspect it must be pretty much complete judging by the rest of the game so far.

Hope this helps answer some of those questions :)

That is amazing. I can't believe it exists. Any chance of pictures of the cartridge itself? A play through would be fantastic.

Awesome find. It's a shame that it can't be dumped though. Why does everything have to be about money nowadays :( Research just isn't important to anyone any more.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah i can get pictures of the cart, though its nothing special to be fair though came direct from the dev house as it is.

segaloco, since when was everything not about money? Most of these type of finds actually stand people good money, so i'm sure many others like myself want money back.

Also value wise, everything that is rare contains value, this is a true 1 of 1 at the moment. Some collectors would want this to stay in their hands only, its a great feeling knowing what you have and your simply the only one that has it.

I don't quite understand why someone would get a unlreased / unknown game and release it to the public free of charge, of course if you don't care for the game and have plenty of money so what it cost you doesn't matter.

If everyone has it, whats then special about it other than the fact it never saw a shop / public release so to speak?

Not meaning for the above to sound harsh etc, but on the other hand to ask you a simillar question, why does everyone want everything for free these days? After all this did cost me money.

Public dumping destroys the inherent value of the cart. If you don't believe this, find someone who wants to pay the original asking price for a GD-R of Propeller Arena or Half-Life.

Owners of unreleased games certainly can investigate the game's history and dig up information on where it came from, how it fits in, why it was cancelled, etc. Something doesn't have to be public for the owner to research it. It doesn't even have to be public for non-owners to research the game details.

All too often these days the oft quoted "research"request is merely a euphimism for "I want a free copy" just like "backup" simply means "pirated game."

Why is it that there are so many people who claim to be doing "research" on various games and systems across the Interent but so very few of them ever actually publish any findings, in either a formal or informal report?

    Food for thought.

Dano made an awesome find and he's already started sharing information with the board. He could have just kept it entirely quiet and not said a word. To start throwing out even minor insults just because he doesn't want to copy the cart for the world is pretty darn rude.

I do release all games I can get hands on for free and I payed quite a money for each of the game I released. It's just way to contribute to the community. If everyone hoards all the proto/betas/demos what would we play with ? So that's my opinion.

hl718, my thoughts exactlly, thanks for sharing your thoughts :)

michal99, that is your own personal decission. Not everyone on here has enough 'spare' money to just throw around and buy unreleased / prototype games and release them to the community for free.

If your words are true, feel free to speak to me, i have nice things i can sell to you if YOU wish to release them for free to the community. Sadly i'm not in such a wealthy position to do this.

At different times ive given all sorts to people within this community, certain things i won't share with just anyone and some things won't ever be shared at all, its as simple as that.

As for your views, as hl718 pointed out, i could have easily never said a word about this game knowing full well its a real rarity, but i thought i'd dig to see if anyone has any info on it. To demo it i also posted pictures and information up about the game, i could have easily refused. This in its own is a contribution, however i'm afraid i won't dump the game.

I’m actually glad when I hear someone wants to keep something private.
Releasing a copy just destroys the rarity and value... I totally respect Dano2k0’s decision and I support it. Great item, btw.

In my opinion working with a copy is fine if an actual cartridge is not possible to be obtained, however.

Okay, I see what you mean now. Okay then, how much you sellin' for Dano? =P (Just to state my outlook, its fine if you have a proto that there are already over 9000 of floating around, but for something that we haven't even seen, much less heard anything about, like unannounced games that pop up and stuff, it just bugs me when something like that just passes hands and potentially could get locked up in a cabinet forever. Not to say that is what always happens, but those situations just bug me. Sorry if that opinion isn't well accepted around here, its just me.)

The fact you posted pics and proved what it is is enough for me. Maybe whoever ends up with it will dump it, who knows?

Thanks for bringing its existience to our attention, instead of keeping it a secret. After all, with the amount of people that DO hoard stuff out there, you can bet there an an odd few that have lots of stuff they don't even let anyone know about. So we should be glad that Dano was willing to at least let us know about the game.

Neither I, but for the cartridge the value doesn't change much and to be honest I don't belive you paid anything big for this. The reason is if you do, you wouldn't have to ask here if it was released or not. We are not stupid ;-). As I said look at the price of Darxide for 32x. It's not even a proto and the dump is there for ages.

Sure, give me a pm with your stuff and we can work something out.

    Guys, thanks for the support.

michal99, of course the value of the cartridge will change, its the data that is contained on it that retains the value that it makes it what it is today. If the cartridge was blank the value would be minimal in comparison.

I have no idea as to what Darxide for 32x is, neither do i know its value. I won't pretend to know anything about it simply because i don't. All i do know is for the like of any unreleased game, if there are multiple copies turn up, the value will crash and will be worth hardly anything to what just one copy is. Ive seen it happen a couple of times in the past and that is my personal experience.

I'm trying to not be insulted by what you said, not for one moment did i say anyone here is stupid and i have no reason to even begin thinking that. I didn't exactlly ask if the game was released, before i bought it i already knew i was onto something odd, i bought more than one item at the time but the broken down value didn't make this a give away shall we say that much.

I was ideally looking for possible info, sources etc that know more about this as i know very little about it. I do find it quite an amazing piece although its somthing i won't personally play as its not my type of game. As with anything that is quite odd and rare that i own, i like to know as much about is as possible, when creating this thread i was simply looking for more info than anything, along with sharing my find with the community.

PM on its way if your the man with money to share with the community.

Wow great find, interested to see something like this. I had no clue this was going to be a GBC port.
