The GT2000 demo disc contais a very early build of Gran Turismo 3 (Gran Turismo 2000 was the original name). I call it as demo/beta, because the final game was so different, that calling it just a demo wouldn't make sense. I'll post pics of it later.

 

I'm going to be queuing for GT5P in Japan. And yes when I get it I will be rushing home and loading it up.

Are you a fan of just the games or do youhope to someday collect all the great racing accessories out there (GT Steering Wheel, Forza 2 Xbox wireless steering wheel, etc)

Because I noticed those booklets contain pictures of the steering wheel yet there's not one in your collection.


Btw what is

Tourist Trophy? Never heard of it before. Is it part of the GT Cannon or just by the same creators?

GT Brasil is a website with brazilian GT fans and players. I'm not a member, but i thought you were, since you own so much GT stuff.

I so envy you for having that much stuff.

 

I plan on getting Enthusia and Forza games too.

I don't have the steering wheel, because the price down here is ridiculous.
The old one, made for GT3 costs about 400 Reais (about 200 dollars). The newer one, for GT4, costs 900 Reais (about 450 dollars).

Tourist Trophy is a motorcycle game by PD, using the same graphics engine made for GT4. The physics of course is different but the graphics are the same. There's one new track too.

I will admit that accessories at 450 and 200 dollars is insane.

But, then I again I just purchased my first set of Samba de Amigo Marraccas... so uhh maybe I'm insane. But, of course that only came out to like 100 dollars.

 

Motor Toon series rule! It's on my wish-list, both the japanese versions. Only the 2nd one was released in usa.

I got my GT Force Pro like 6 months ago for 75€ in a local shop as they were making space for next generation stuff.

It's a shame but there's not much interest in them as they've been sitting there since. People here prefer a Fanatec Speedster for the same money just because it features Fernando Alonso on the outer box.

 

I noticed this on the Polyphony site, some of the games are mentioned in Alexbrasils list, but some like the Toyota MTRC version and the two VW Lupo cup versions. Seems like GT is a handy promotion tool for car makers. Just wish they wouldn't have half a dozen Mitsubishi Evos, Suburu Imprezas that apart from the paint are all the same. Dito Vauxhall Tigra and Opel Tigra, hmm well the badge is different...
