    Seems to be prototypes of:

    Rock n Roll racing md
Some various unreleased sierra stuff for nes
    Bubsy

    Some unlabeled eproms!

I have to drag out the reader and dump them.

If you've got unreleased Sierra NES games, I could likely make you an offer on them that would host this site for another year with just that one sale...

Very cool stuff, color me interested.

Wow, I would love to know more about the Bubsy proto. Is it Bubsy 1 or 2?

    You going to sell these?

mrmark0673's offer sounds very good. Definitely don't pass it up, since if I can be frank, I've seen you mention lots of proto stuff before that you've got and then suddenly..poof, no more info and we never hear anything about it again =p I know you've got lots going on in life though, but since it will help pay for the site maybe this time there will be more enthusiasm ;)

To be honest people are wrong to assume selling the protos (if he did) would pay for the site and should stop asking if they will be sold.

If he did sell them, it would be a private transaction between the site owner and the buyer, nothing more and the site would still need the required donations to get by. If ASSEMbler donates the proceeds of any sale to the fundraiser then so be it, but given as he is already several thousand pounds out of pocket already don't bet on it.

Lastly if they were for sale they would be in the Marketplace -_-

Anyhow, hope you find something nice :)

Man! I loved Rock n' Roll racing on the Snes. That was one hell of a game. Hell, if I think really hard, I still remember some of the passwords. Or like... parts of them.

This game made MANY weekends fun.

Once I have them dumped how do I get the files to run in an emu? I'd have 4 files
lowrom etc. I've never combined eproms into a single image.

I've never dumped Genesis protos straight from the eproms, I just use MoD's scd transfer utility

Totally understand and didn't mean to thread crap at all. Just figured I'd mention that if he wants to make 5 figures overnight on some stuff he forgot he had in a closet somewhere, I'm beyond interested.

If you're not looking to sell, that's cool too. Very excited to see what you dig up, especially the NES stuff and any unreleased Genny stuff you get your hands on!

Who made the EPROM reader and software? I had one from EETools a while back, and the reading software itself could support EPROMs split into low/high pairs. It was an option in the menus somewhere, made it real simple...

You would actually pay $10K or more for unreleased game prototypes?

Oops! No, I meant 4 figures  . Most I ever spent on a single NES proto was $2.7K. Hopefully that will be the highest I ever spend on one!

Model? I'm in the market for one as well as a PIC programmer but for the life of me I can't find one that isn't dubious in quality or trying to hide the fact its parallel.
