Just realised, why are the forums so small?

Just wondering why the forum windows or overall width is so small?

Compared to say, the Ben Heck forums, they almost take up the entire screen width (http://forums.benheck.com/index.php)

I am sure ASSEMbler can do it easily.

It feels like im being squished when I type (if that makes any sence what so ever )

I can select ASSEMbler old style from the drop down box at the bottom of the page (or any other), and they are bigger. But still, even if the original style was 20% bigger it would look better.

    Anyone else think this?

It's the styles I bought, that is the way they are.

Feel free to buy the site more styles.

    Im sorry.

    BOUGHT?

Hmm. You can edit them anyway.
But if there ok and you like them as they are at the moment, then that's cool. Just wondering why they were so squishy.

Having everything centre is better, saves my eyes from scanning my whole screen.

Small? It's not small for me. I use the oldschool black layout. There's maybe an inch either side.

I use a 15 inch laptop most of the time its quite allright, really no complaints about the site on my end. Especially how the admins here are like real people and don't scaled you for ever little mistake or swear. You just need a forum thats doesn't feel stuffy with stuck intellectuals instead of regular intellectuals. Now I am not saying there not here but, they're just not in mass quantities.

After the update, FireFox sucked. I switched to Google Chrome, but thats just my opinion.

At least you're not using Internet Explorer

My only problem with firefox at the moment is the layout (Tabs are above the address bar) which I understand can be fixed and it still has memory issues out the ass, I had one tab open for maybe an hour and we're talking 250k in Task manager. It doesn't suck by any means whatsoever. Some of the add-ons it has are fantastic and I don't think in terms of add-ons it's rivaled yet.

Only thing I would like is some mobile plugin so that it runs in a web app on smart phones.

Browsing this site on my iPhone is a bastard.

Are we fucking having kids on this forum ? seriously I am getting that feeling lately, it is either kids or fan boys who are thinking it would so cool as shit, if this or that was different. Jesus Christ almighty, and his titty fucking friends. I could not give two shits about other forums. Even though I am a member of other forums. But this bullshit, about the big "guru" Ben heckendorn, yeah I like his portabilisation projects he has made in the past. And yes I think some of his portables are the dogs bollocks, but then again if Ben needs help, he will probably ask some of "our" experts, either in person on this forum, or if some of the cool members from here are members on his "massive" forum. I am pretty damn happy with this forum, and what ASSEMbler has done. So what if it is not as big, as other forums, but the people here, know their stuff to their finger nails.

Hmmm elitism, the old word for hipsters ? oh no we are going to get hacked, because of some of us old timers are pissing off a few fan boys.
We have been there, done that, and got our bloody T-shirts too.

Big forums does not mean shit, if the forum is slow as fuck. And nothing is happening, here it goes fast, and people know their stuff. And most people tries to help out. When or if they can.

Reason I used it for a couple of days to test it. I can't trust anything google, whether it's ignorant paranoia or not.

I can't help but feel Mozilla tracks a shit ton too, or anything I use for that matter. & having AT&T for ISP and phone provider, never a good thing if you want to remain private. + Android phone... Another Google endeavor.
