technically all browsers do if your that paranoid about stuff like that then don't use the internet full stop, your ISP, email provider etc can log a hell of a lot more than that
But your ISP doesn't tend to sell that information to advertisers unlike google Well I suppose it depends on the ISP. If they're going to sell my data I'd at least like a cut of the profits
I will attest to this. Without permission also. Certain John Lewis adverts came up advertising products I had been searching (Converse and flannel shirts). There was a link below the ad that explained why I was getting those adverts. Seems Google harvest your info and pass it onto companies like John Lewis. All this from merely searching.
pah who cares about google tracking them, i got my uni tracking every thing im doing.... including writting this, personaly i like the smaller frame of ag rather than the boss like themes of overclockers and that lot. personaly i use chrome but thats becuse i love everything as minimal as it can be. i used firefox for a good 6 years so i have no biest between them
