So back in 2012, images linked from a Double Helix employee's portfolio that gave some detail on a Justice League game. http://gamerant.com/justice-league-video-game-details-screenshots-zi-141803/ Basically, what we knew was that it existed, it had the Justice League in it, and it didn't look outright awful. The game was originally slated to come out alongside the Justice League movie, which was canned, but the game survived a bit beyond that. Beyond that concept art, nothing else leaked from the game. Of course, me being me, and being on a Double Helix kick after finding Killer Instinct on the Xbox 360, I didn't like that there was such minimal information out there. So with some digging and well timed emails, I have some footage for the 360 build that was likely made post-movie cancellation, as the title "Green Lantern: A Justice League Game" shows up occasionally. But from what I have seen so far, the game is 100% Justice League, with players being given the option of choosing a league member, with different options based on the mission itself. In the build that this video is from, apparently the voices were still mostly placeholders, along with much of the FMV's still being moving storyboards. But gameplay itself seemed to be in place, and it actually seems quite fun. Video is from a June 2009 Build. Thanks for digging around - not my cup of tea, but it's still an interesting find. Did you hack into Double Helix or something?!
It's strange to see something like this so close to the finish line but never released...you'd think they could've done something like make it into a XBL Arcade title towards the end. One aspect of the beat-em-up I do like though is that you can grab multiple enemies if you do it quickly enough (seen in the Diana vs Sinestro bit). That's actually a damn nice touch I wish more games of this sort had.
