Had a little down time so decided to try it out on my debug; would have been neat if it wasn't basically the x360 version but none the less still cool to have! Didn't have the freezing in the tunnel and stayed major ruin (rock element) all the way through. Pretty impressed how it looks on the original xbox too!

There are quite a few differences if you really look though, despite it playing the same.

Well, I think to the contrary it is very neat *because* it is basically the x360 version! I thought it was one of the best looking games on 360 and now it runs on ye olde xbox like magic.
The last good Rare game. It´s awesome even if it crashes sometimes.

I remember when this was first coming out there was an interview saying how the big fight scenes were a lot different due the 360s power allowing a lot more monsters on screen. Wait till you get to the battle in the fields I reckon there will be quite a few changes present in the bigger scenes.

I'd just like to thank Borman and Ghostspeed for making this happen. This graphics for an Xbox 1 game are really impressive!

I'm sure there are a few differences no doubt but imagine if it was closer the GC builds! o_O

Oh no doubt it's awesome to have, really cool to see it running on the original xbox and well at that; but as I said to Borman would have been awesome if it had some content from the GC builds they looked so much different than the Kameo we ended up getting..

Haha for sure I'm curious to see how different that is. I remember playing it on the 360 and being amazed by all the enemies on screen!

The big field with the thousand enemies isn't there, as far as Ive seen thus far.

There are more enemies, and seemingly more variety, on the 360. And lots of script changes.

Guys, I obviously have no problem reuploading it, but try not to cut out any files. Some are reporting that the debug XBE is missing for some people. Not sure if that is true, but if you are truly about preservation and not "OMG NEW GAME", keep it together.

I'd hate to inconvenience you, but is there anyway you can create a torrent for this release, or at least upload it to a free user friendly filehost? I really want to try this out on my Xbox, it looks pretty nice, and from the comments I've read, I really want to check it out even more.

Its about as userfriendly as it is going to get really, the decent hosts packed up and left. I don't do torrents at this point. There are 4 different hosts so you can grab basically every file at the same time. You can also find it on some other pirate sites at this point pretty easily, didn't take long.

The debug.xbe (kambuild) crashes at the MS intro on my debug. Is that happening for anyone else? Also what's the cdx.xbe do?

    - CDX.xbe loads up the "DEMO" option.
(You can actually delete this if you don't need it, along with its folder. Looking at the structure, it only has the demo clip of Kameo itself, so no real playable demo's. If you the select the Demo option, it'll either reboot the game or reboot to the Xbox dash, depending on the game's structure.)

-Update.xbe can also be safely removed (50+MB), this isn't really used anymore.
-Also onlineupdate.xbe (2+MB IIRC) or whatever, but if you delete this and select from the game's interface, it'll reboot or hang the game probably?

But as Borman said, if you plan on sharing, keep the file structure intact.
(I always remove update.xbe anyways, this doesn't affect anything)

I mirrored it on my own server, view: Kameo - Unreleased Original Xbox Version

Its exactly the same as you will get downloading from here, just a single rar file which you can resume the download on if you use a download manager.

Here are some differences on the Rare intro, start screen and menu compared to the 360 release.

I recommend to check this, the movie shows a very early version of Kameo, really worth it.
