Kingdom Hearts 1 Trial?

Anyone have any information about this trial? Kendo picked it up (and Im sort of jealous ), just curious if anyone knows when it was given out (shop demo?) and its contents. Thanks!

 

I wouldn't know about it, but I would love to see what's inside that Taikenban. Maybe unseen cut-scenes or that supposed Bahamut summon?

 

Very nice! You always wonder where these promos come from, they always seem to pop up randomly with little history behind them.

 

There's been a couple of them on YJ! for quite some time, getting relisted over and over again at insane prices. What Kendo fetched that one for was a steal compared to what people have wanted for it elsewhere.

No clue what's on it, though. Was kinda hoping to score one myself, but kinda put it on the backburner.

 

The same seller has the FF7 siggraph disk for a decent price as well. Was tempted to buy that, but I've seen the contents so it is less interesting.

 

Yeah. Those seem to be fetching a lot these days. I sold a couple at $150 a few years ago. Still got a sealed one in my own collection <3

 

i saw some of these demos (maybe2) on yahoo japan for around 500 dollar and more...

 

fwiw, if anyone is interested/cares, back when Kingdom Hearts I first got dumped for the US by MajiK the copy which was dumped was not a final-retail version, it came from a disney employee to the best of my knowledge.

 

but it was not that disc that got dumped by majik or?

 

MajiK's dump was a US pre-retail copy, not the OP copy mentioned here, I was just stating for KH fans

 

hm....i am more or less a KH noob.so this disc,is it a playable demo or just a selfrunning video disc?cant read japanese

Does anyone have anymore information on it? Hope it contains something playable.

 

I would say it's a playable demo. The Japanese characters on the CD matches with the ones of the PSStore playable demos, so... That's as far as my Japanese language goes... lol

Usually Playstation promos are full retails. This is what makes this trial disc interesting, but most likely just an early demo build :/

 

maybe soon we will know more whats on it....
