http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/hami...apter-genesis-2-3-mega-driver-32x-/1065542645 "high quality custom made Adapter, adapters are made for high standard, High quality cable, conectors, internal circuit board with LED indicator designed by me" and its just coincidence that her thumb is covering the label, which obviously would have no Australian approvals at all... lol
Is this the same chick from last time ?? What cracks me up is "designed by me"..... Yeah I highly doubt that hahaha and a quick PSA: Never buy adapters that aren't approved, most don't comply with "creepage" and "clearance" distances between the primary and secondary side of the transformer. Long story short, there is a risk of having 240v run into your device or you! i had one of thease generic things open today, they are scary how badly made they are.. The input from the wall is connected via just two thin pieces of wire with little insulation.. The board was still coverd in flux..
If you're going to sell cheap crappy AC adaptors and knockoff consoles that's fine, there's a market for them for better or worse. The repeated lying about the products' origin when confronted just makes her a flat out bad person. She knows exactly what she's selling (in that it's cheap crap at least).
Man this chick is nearly as bad as the people who ask for old consoles and stuff on gumtree and non gaming facebook trade groups, hoping people will think they're garbage and not worth anything.. Or even that guy a few weeks back saying they where for charity :/
There's this guy that puts his number on power poles with his number for old consoles. Found an ad on bumtree and it was the same guy, instead had a photo of his "collection" it was just shit piled up. Mostly Playstations.
Hahaha, this thread is awesome, I didn't know Australia had there own sort of craigslist looking site... just as shady too! hahah
Go on then, tell her you want to buy 10, as you often get consoles at garage sales without power supplies
How did you go? I actually have five or six Sega consoles that need power supplies... Of course I wouldn't buy from her though!
