Remember PS3 is Region Free too. So you PS3 Owners can just Import. I gotta say it's a good time to be a fighting game fan. SF IV, KOF XII, BlazBlue (Guilty Gear XXX or Guilty Gear Mark of the wolves), New VF 5 with Taka finally back. Feels like the mid 90s all over again. As for the look on Ryu's Face. He looks like he's Constipated or something. actually the whole cast does SF IV Story Revealed Since the Fall of Shadowloo the World Warriors have been suffering from a bad case of Iiregularity they set off to find the magical exlax in Tibet. Oh Hi Adult Naruto what're you doing in Street Fighter? So yeah I can see why more purists are more excited about KOF XII than SF IV.
I'm pretty sure Capcom had to threaten SCEA to let X4 on the PS1 with RE2, so they caved and now 2D games are pretty much good with them. ....Or something like that.
From what I understand it was Mega Man 8 that Capcom Blackmailed SCEA with. Sony couldn't stand to have such a huge game being saturn exclusive so they begged Capcom for it. and of course the Saturn version is superior even though for whatever reason Capcom Chose to port the PS1 version to the anniversary collection.
I just hope that with awesome sprites like that, Mai had better have big fucking god damn tits and they had better bounce the fuck around. Last time I played a newer KOF, there was no jiggle. Fuck that.
Haha, I love how you mention to me the possibility of you getting a PS3 after all the crap you gave me via AIM about me having mine.
seems to be getting better and better... i wonder we it'll be out, and if it'll be a download game or not.
I don't know but I'd much rather get it on PS3 than 360. The D-Pad on the 360 is just an epic failure. If I grab SF4 sometime it would also likely be on PS3. I'm not so sure based on the trailer just posted that I will like all the new art. Some characters looked ratehr fat compared to their original NeoGeo sprites. Others looked nice and fresh. I suppose we shall see whenever it hits consoles.
Probably because they aren't sprites but rather high resolution bitmaps drawn with a pet tablet. Sprites are hardware elements that allow pixel granular movement of individual tiles overlaid upon a fixed tile mesh background. Current-gen consoles apart from the DS don't have sprites, or any of the limitations of them (or any texture storage constraints starting this generation) so artists can draw practically as much of anything as they want now in 2D.
