never got my battly tryst board to work but maybe i am to dumb with all this supergun mumbo jumbo will try in a month again couldnt even figure out which way to put the jamma plug into the board with all those japanese characters on mine (thats gotta change with my japanese language course i hope )
Your JAMMA connector should have been keyed if you don't know which side is which. Plugging in the connector the wrong way could damage your board. Ofcourse you could just trace back certain wires to figure out which pins are which. The easiest thing to do as I recall is check for which wires goto the power supply, and that side should be on the short piece of the connector. The longer piece is where player inputs and such should be.
i have bought a supergun assembled for about 50 usd and its perfect for all my jamma boards, its the easiest way...
Well just got a third m2 arcade board with total vice but european one!!My problem is that when i insert the cd it recognises it and goes to black screen waiting for loading but nothing. Black screen remains. I have tried cleaning, changing cd drive with no luck, any ideas?:crying:
So a Konami Polystars M2 board only takes in Polystars? or has anyone had any luck at all swapping any of these games..........
I have a hell night and total vice boards that only read their own games unfortunately(i have tried all).
All cd based konami boards have something which stops you from just swapping games. On systems where they sell upgrades then it's a dongle, but others have used values stored in the battery backed up ram. It's alot easier to figure this stuff out in an emulator but it should be possible to disassemble the code. It's normally the game code that refuses to run, rather then the bios refusing to run the game code. smf
Wow thanks for those, i'd love to own any konami m2 arcade games. Doesn anyone have any pics of Heat Of Eleven '98 becuaser i'd love to see that game.
I have the total vice too,but have to clean it to photo it. I dont have heat and polystars yet!:crying: But i have faith...one day!!!:110:
