Lamborghini for Xbox due up for grabs?

I'd just read a post from the 21st of July which I had to moderate
(just noticed this morning actually...).
It had INTERESTING content to say the least.

I already asked him for his price or a possible dump...
AND OBVIOUSLY PROOF of the disc itself.

I would not reveal any information on a public forum anyway, not without asking him / her first. However that is a very interesting find.

I left a comment on his video pointing him over to Assemblergames.com if he is serious about selling, suggesting it could be possible to do a community release.

 

I also told him to spill the beans here.
And actually he just posted on the forum, not contacting me via PM.
Though I guess he did mark the post himself for moderation

 

Thanks for the info he just posted on youtube he doesn't want to sell it here in a community release claiming from what he has seen its a pain in the ass :-( but he is looking for a private buyer

Why not just sell it direct in the marketplace?

Strange though, the fundraisers here have gone quite smoothly - the last problem that cropped up was the first attempt at getting Geist Force, and that was a problem with the seller... not the community here. When the same game turned up AGAIN(*) for auction it was snapped up immediately by the community, just like the first time.

Any chance you could have this guy elaborate on why it's a 'pain in the ass'?

Geist Force hit somewhere in the region of 700 - $800. I doubt this game would come close to that (there are other copies of this game out there...ditto for Made Man) A fundraiser might actually be your best bet to maximise your profits.

Looks to me like good news a possible release of the game and possibly the interview with a made man beta. The quote was posted 7 hours before this post. WHO is this someone?

Didnt you 'only' have the XBOX LIVE-debug kit build, that supposedly only works on said kit? If so I doubt the digital signage/fingerprint is the same as the build you own, since the version shown in the video works on a non-live kit.

 

No, no...I have the pressed 'Live!' full game disc and the full game that runs on regular debug/dev kit (its even runs on the 360, lol) and is digitally signed to me...I shared the full game with a few trusted friends...Am watching to see if its my originals that have been leaked, I'm sure they haven't, well I certainly hope not, now I see thats there's money being involved, that would be naughty. :fresh:

That game surfacing in one way or another would be the sweetest thing to ever happen in my gaming life. Still have the demo, and I think I even asked here on the marketplace once for a complete version a long time ago - alas there was none up for grabs at that time.

The funny thing is: I don't care about it being an original, signed, unsigned, and having to do stuff with my box to get it working in the first place. I'd devote an entire Xbox to this game if necessary mod-wise. It's the gameplay that got me hooked, I still think that it was one of the most-enjoyable racers ever for the consoles of that generation. Visually stunning too, glowing brake discs and cool replays etc...

bumping because I'm still interested, has anything ever come out of this? If not, is some collector willing to part with this title? I am slowly getting towards the point where I consider shelling out serious cash for this, because - well simply put because I like the game and want more of it than the demo disc can give me ^^

 

we're still patiently waiting to see who the seller plans to sell it too but there hasn't been any updates indicating a transaction has been made

Well, can you see any differences from the footage provided? Watching the video the file size is 1.17GB...

 

Unfortunately, the offering party currently has no plans on releasing this bulk...
The deal was to include Lamborghini/Emergency Mayhem/Made Man.

I still hope one day he'll change his mind, but betting it'll be someone else to share with us.

 

Probably turned out to be old engineers. I think oldengineer also owns Made Man or Emergency Mayhem.

 

A few people have had Made Men and Emergency Mayhem from a different source or two, more likely to see those.
