Have gotten a few more magazines, dvds but the only thing that's really worth mentioning is a 2005 Capcom Express VHS I picked up. Had the same trailer as one of the DVDs from around the time of TGS 2004 but it also had Rockman, Splinter Cell and Biohazard 4 stuff on it too.

The Clock Tower GHOST HEAD Comic Anthology comes out next month, so I'll be able to add that to my collection list as well.

That's it for now sadly, nothing really new to me has popped up within the past few months.

Nice, just visited your site, do you have those clock tower 3 4 scripts?

I'm afraid not. I've gotten close to getting information regarding them before but so far I haven't had much luck with people being willing to give in-depth synopsis of the different scripts (also probably due in part that they were to be handed back in after the joint development of it). I've seen photos of them and I know they're at least of similar sizes but the last script is certainly larger than the earlier ones (as thick as a PS2 case), but I don't know the exact page counts (including or excluding development notes, concept art unused and used throughout that I have some on my website as I know in the earlier ones that some of the developers were cramming concept art prints into their copies of the scripts for reference.

Though some of the information I had gotten does match up to concept art and a biography piece but that's only for stuff later on during the development of the game closer to the final script, so I'm more interested in the earlier ones.

It's also not possible to contact the lead writer of the different scripts as he sadly passed away a few years ago after being involved in the last game - a spiritual successor to the CT series.

I'd love to be able to get my hands on the scripts, even if just for a short amount of time to do some cross-checking of general differences across the time periods per script.

Anyway, I figured that given I had pictures of the scripts that I may as well document them should any copies of any versions show up as you never know what can happen.

Gotten another Clock Tower doujinshi, this one is called "Taste Blood" and is a novel type.

I'm currently waiting to find out about an order but I may have an additional two comic doujinshi to add to my collection, including another comic anthology to go with the first one.

Have had someone e-mailing me a few times to my site e-mail address asking for me to sell my posters and then e-mailing me again under the impression I was selling stuff on Yahoo Auctions Japan so I'm just going to make this clear (and I can't believe I have to do this, but) -

I am not a shop/store owner, nor am I located in Japan.

I cannot look for items for you in Japan outside of checking around auctions for you.

I'm not selling stuff from my personal collection unless I have listed it on the forum and/or on my site as being for sale.

I am however happy to help people find Clock Tower or DEMENTO/Haunting Ground stuff and my recommended price ranges for items depending on their condition and/or overall.

Just finally found a good condition copy of the Nintendo Power Official Play Book Vol.0 including most of it's cartridge stickers (the price was a bit crap at 4000 yen, but I got mucked around by an anti-importer seller on Yahoo Auctions Japan for a couple of weeks and another seller had one that was priced ridiculously at what would be close to $100 for a bloody magazine!), just waiting for that one to ship out so now I have both Vol.0 and Vol.1. Interestingly enough, Clock Tower is the first game listed on the cover of Vol.0!

Still waiting on the Koto No Hahen doujinshi though - including the Clock Tower GHOST HEAD Anthology but there was a wait during the Clock Tower CHASE GAME Anthology order as well so I'm not fussed about waiting as long as I get my ordered items.

I might also have a cute chibi-style Daniella keyring, but so far that's it for new items.

    There's not really been anything up for sale the past few months that has been of interest outside of a poor condition boxed Clock Tower PC copy I was tempted to pick up despite already having a near mint boxed copy for my collection already. One of the major points I find to be fun in collecting is coming across new things or finding things I've been after for a while but it doesn't appear that I've got that luck currently outside of the box of VHS tapes and the Capcom Express 2005 VHS tape. >_<;

Another bunch of Famitsu, FamitsuPS and a couple of odd The PlayStation magazines are on the way from Japan now too!

... I love having my glasses finally, makes squinting at blurry photos of magazines on YAJ a lot easier to pick out the katakana I'm looking for!

I don't know why, but I just love looking at these old game magazines but they always seem to have some sort of useful information either way so I do have to admit - I do get excited whenever I do find an issue that has one of the CT games in it that I've not had much luck finding marketing or press coverage of (so far, Clock Tower ~ The First Fear ~ and Ghost Head despite I have promotional VHS for them!)

Which reminds me, I've also put in back to top buttons on each item entry on the site. Once certain sections are finished off, I'll manually update the menu bar sections on the pages with direct links per items in drop-down menus to make it easier to look at stuff. I'm just being lazy at the moment.

Thanks for the info, also, wasn't there a rumor long time ago about copies of clock tower for windows 95 being lost in a burning warehouse?

No worries. Sorry for the late response - was tired after dealing with a fire, scrubbing the entire house so it doesn't smell of smoke and the like - thankfully, I put my collection into airtight plastic tubs and they were under covers as well so nothing is damaged! Yay! (Long story short: stolen motorbikes were dumped near my house, police fingerprinted them the day beforehand, the following day the thieves returned and torched them. We had to move our neighbor's cars and the bikes eventually exploded before the fire brigade FINALLY showed up to put the fire out as it had already spread to yards and the newly laid grass across the road and got quite close to my house and as I had the windows open and had been too busy helping with stuff - my house got all smokey).

Honestly put, I'm not sure - if that originated on a certain forum (not DCJ) then I'd say it's possible to be a load of crap as I never saw anything to substantiate such rumors. General fact is, there wasn't a large amount of PC copies as far as I was aware - I'm lacking exact sales estimates for a couple of versions including the PC releases so I can't say for sure.

Though there was a recall on initial copies with adjustments made on the system requirements and they had stickers with the corrections. Original requirements, corrected requirements.

That was actually a manufacturing error on a few of the boxes, they were recalled and had the corrected (and originally intended requirements) put onto stickers and the copies were shipped back out.

I've kept the second box (with the corrected requirements) but I've sold the unchanged one to another user on the forum as I was clearing some space out. Even with that, the correct one is the one with the sticker - not the mistake without DirectX 3 being listed on there.

So that may be how the warehouse rumor got started due to stock recalls, but I honestly have yet to see any credible info (multiple gaming magazines, retailers, ex-Human staff) and so-on to confirm anything like that so I would say it's just a rumor.

If you had a link to it or further info - maybe send me a PM so I can go over it?

Not really possible outside of sampler, promotional or development builds or materials as I already have mint copies of the games as well as open copies that aren't mint now as I opened up my double copies so I could scan and document them. Only missing a proper sealed, mint full boxed PC copy, Ultra-2000 pc copy and a Wonderswan copy so far.

But the original fat box PC copies may be impossible to find sealed as they were recalled to have system requirement stickers put on to make an amendment to the product a couple of weeks after it's release.

Besides, the plus to having a fairly small series to collect is that it's a bit easier to organize in contrast to having boxes upon boxes of Final Fantasy, Persona, Silent Hill, Resident Evil or Metal Gear Solid stuff floating around the house.

Since I haven't listed them in the main post or taken photos:

    Mint copies:

Clock Tower ~ The First Fear ~ PS1
    Clock Tower 2
Clock Tower 2 - The Best
    Clock Tower Ghost Head (JPN)
Clock Tower 3 (JPN, US, EU-UK)
    Demento (JPN)
    Demento Capkore (JPN)
    Haunting Ground (US, EU-UK, EU-AU)
    Clock Tower 2 Trial Edition
    Clock Tower Ascii Demo
Clock Tower ~ The First Fear ~/Clock Tower 2 memory card pre-order bonus
    Clock Tower 3 Original Soundtrack
    Demento Original Soundtrack

I also have mint copies of most of the guidebooks in their original plastic bags and I did initially organize to have the US/UK versions of Clock Tower 2 and The Struggle Within all mint but I refuse to pay for them after a deal has been organized and then the seller has them "VGA Graded" and put into the shitty loss prevention plastic boxes for an extra few hundred.

I also have a SF Memory Cassette with Clock Tower on it but it doesn't have any stickers or any other games on it.

For some reason Koto no Hahen isn't taking doujinshi orders at the moment due to issues with their store set up so I need to try and order them again another time otherwise if they're going through Toranoana, I'll have to find someone that can help me order through Toranoana as the main deputy services I've used aren't taking orders for items through them as they've apparently been an outright pain in the ass to deputy services'.

Clock Tower 3 South Korea version is also on the way too, it IS mint but I do have to open it to scan and check the contents as the only other fellow collector that has a copy hasn't scanned everything in nor has been able to confirm a couple of things so I have to do it myself.

Other than that, still nothing new. >_<

Wow...first collection I've seen that's dedicated to the Clock Tower franchise. Have never played the game myself...but heard good things about it. I assume it's similar to other survival horror games. Somehow reminded me of Fatal Frame, which was a great game btw.

Well, I also collect Drag-on Dragoon/Drakengard/NieR (Project: Dragonsphere) as well. I was also collecting Tekken, Syphon Filter and Final Fantasy stuff among a few other things but after having some particular items stolen from my collections' when I was younger, I've cut it down to smaller franchises or specific games so I have a few different lots of FF merchandise to Persona 3 and certain Shin Megami Tensei games due to the added amount of merchandise "bloating" as I call it for a select number of titles within those franchises.

My partner collects Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill and is on and off with collecting Biohazard/Resident Evil - though he's not one of the hardcore RE collectors like Decades on here is.

    So we've got okay collections I would say. I just haven't posted up photos of my Drakengard stuff in the other topic a I figured that dividing my main franchise collections would be easier than dumping it all into a single photo and list clusterfuck of a topic. ^^;

Zero/Project Zero/Fatal Frame games are good, though parts of the Clock Tower fandom has had some ups and downs in combined "Panic Horror" communities though it seems a lot of them are dying out now so it may not go like it used to when I first started collecting CT stuff.

Though if you like those sorts of games, you could also play Siren/Forbidden Siren, Kuon, Demento/Haunting Ground (technically a Clock Tower game) or even early Suda51 titles from back when he was at HUMAN Entertainment - Twilight Syndrome titles, Moonlight Syndrome to another HUMAN Entertainment title called "Mizzurna Falls" which had Shenmue sort of gameplay before Shenmue was even around.

Have updated the first post, removed a couple of doujinshi (Clock Tower GHOST HEAD "Show Time!" doujinshi anthology and Sorg Ikke Baere) due to the circle screwing around my pre-order for the doujinshi with the excuse that they weren't taking orders at the time... Despite having order info and an online store up at the time, only to get back to me a few months down the track with that excuse.

So. Not exactly happy about that as one of the two copies of the GH anthology were to go to a friend that happens to be an absolute die-hard fan of Ghost Head/The Struggle Within. Very disappointed and am going to be wary about as to whether or not I should bother ordering doujin put out in the future by that particular circle. :/

Added in new, updated photos and lists to the main post. [Edit: Apologies for the potato quality.]

Not everything is shown in the photos - Main items missing (because they are packed away in boxes, I am in the process of moving) are: sealed copies of games, Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within, Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within Strategy Guide and US/UK copies of games.

Two items (Clock Tower 3 E3 Promotional Watch and Capcom 2002 E3 Press DVD), I'm currently waiting for them to arrive but I will update the photos at a later point in time.

New items and notes before I update Stalking Insanity:

Clock Tower GHOST HEAD Promotional Poster #1: This is a promotional store poster featuring Saidou/Maxwell.

    Nintendo Power Play Book Volume.0
: This magazine came bundled with the Super Famicom Memory Cassette used with the Nintendo Power Loppi machines and wasn't available for purchase - these are more of a catalog for games available via the Loppi machines and also include a page of stickers to mark on the SF Memory Cassette which games have been written to it.

    Clock Tower (2) US-NTSC Prototype:
Going to be upfront about this: Part of purchase was that I can't share the full build online but I will be releasing the music tracks, pre-rendered cutscene endings and should we come across anything else of importance within the programming, then I'll follow that up at a later point in time.

A localization transitional build. Features the new voice acting used in the US and European versions of Clock Tower 2 but they are in the same file structure order as the Japanese version. Also includes the "OMAKE" folder featuring the Jennifer wallpaper which was removed outside of the Japanese releases.

There appears to be two somewhat different tracks to the retail and Trial Edition of CT2 of "Arrival at the Burroughs Castle" and "The Burroughs Castle", I will make MP3s available of the rips in my downloads topic. It also includes some errors in the subtitles in parts of the game and one of the ending cutscenes which was corrected within the retail build.

DEMENTO eCapcom Glass: Was only available if you were to pre-order DEMENTO via Capcom's eCapcom online store. Seems to have been in limited quantity, typically a rare item as I have only come across two of them (one is likely to have been a scam, so it's really more along the lines of the single one I got recently) in the past 6 or years of looking for one.

Clock Tower 3 Unofficial Chinese Guidebook: This appears to have a mini-walkthrough for another game, however I am horrible at reading Simplified Chinese (what I assume it to be written in as I bought it via Taobao from the mainland in comparison to Ruten Taiwan). Another cheap and nasty quality guidebook but it appears to have the correct information in it compared to one of the other ones.

I think I have asked you before, but, where did you get the Clock Tower 3 Scripts?

And I told you last time, I do not have them. I have photos of them and so, I documented them with what little information I have on them. That is why I also left a note on each script listing on the website has "I don't personally have access to the script and am unable to discuss any differences due to that."

I documented them for a reference as Capcom scripts and the like have been showing up quite a bit as of late and I would be interested in obtaining them or access to them but given the sheer amount of scripts for Clock Tower 3, there would be some obvious confusion about the production/development timeframe per each script should copies of them surface.

Sorry, I forgot that I did it indeed, and I tought It was on another thread, I only visited your site once a year ago and I really forgot that.

Maxwell Curse is a BS, the real deal is the Clock Tower for Windows 95 Curse.

Its not DCJ I guess, I used the Wayback machine and I recalled that I've visited once.

It was many years ago, I think it was a CT fan site, but with a dark color, I think it was greyish/brownish, there was the the cover and the disc print, just like your site, but only one of each, because I've found on Wikipedia that there was a Windows 95 port, but I only tested the game on a WonderSwan emulator, never played any other.

Your site was created on 2012 right? I saw this years before, something like 2008-2010, unless I mistook for another product, but definitely I saw something about a fire in a warehouse that destroyed the copies, and even something that I tought it was weird, because the way it was stating, it sounded like a lost game. This also recalls me of Persona for Windows, I tried to find about this version, only found a cover for it.

If you're talking about and older greyish Clock Tower fansite, then it's likely to be The Burroughs Mansion / www.clocktower.fr which is an affiliate/sibling site of Stalking Insanity. ShymaX has never had any crap about a warehouse fire destroying copies of the Windows95 version of his website. What ShymaX knows is the same as what I know as I asked him if he had heard anything when you brought up this warehouse fire stuff the first time around, Shyma confirmed with me that he hadn't heard any such thing either.

The Windows95 port is an official and real game, I've already given you an explanation for a product recall on it in the past but literally other than that, there are no other notable stock issues documented as the real factor of the matter of there being a small amount of copies of it are that PC games weren't as common as console games in Japan.

If it were the fansite that was black in colour and was purely a forum, they had a lot of bullshit that shouldn't be believed on there. Due in part to the drama and misinformation, that's why I made my own website.

[Edit as I was short for time before work earlier]

Despite the fact that I've only put my site up in 2012, I've actually been around in the survival horror community for a great deal longer than that under different usernames. I have not seen any credible proof regarding copies of a CT game lost in a fire and at the current time, it just seems to have been pure speculation to explain the game being uncommon and/or an attempt to cause an increase in price due to "rarity" but the Windows95 version of Clock Tower is in no way, shape or form a "lost" game.

To the extent, if you go onto YouTube and look for "Clock Tower - Win95 Intro" you'll find a bit of footage for it in action or if you still don't believe me, I'm quite happy to make a video recording of me showing you the game, loading it into my computer, installing it and playing it if I absolutely must.

Or alternatively, I could also go and e-mail the creator of the Clock Tower series - Mr. Hifumi and ask him about it again and I doubt his response will be any different then the first time I told you.
