Large Sonic collection for sale. Will sell games singley

I signed up to this board at the chance of finding some really big gaming fans, preferably geared toward the SEGA fandom. I used to be a collector of Sonic games, and now that I’ve gone off him I’m left with a collection worth £1000 ($2000). The collection is rare because a large majority of the games are still sealed, ranging from 1991 to present day, and while some of the games can be found quite readily on eBay, their sealed variants are much harder to find, and for it I’ve paid a high price. I’m looking for a collector who appreciates the difference between sealed and unsealed games.

I’m sure it will be hard to find a collector of mascot specific games, and those that do show an interest are not the sort to collect. Is anybody here interested in the collection, or can direct me to somebody or somewhere that would be?

All I’m looking for is a return on the price I paid, but I should

If anybody has an interest please voice so, only then will I list the games and price. I’d prefer someone by the whole lot, but I should warn that I live in the UK, so shipping costs may be high.

    EDIT:
OK so I've finially taken the pictures, however the camera is a little crappy so the images might look a little grainy: http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h230/Soniccollection/

Man, that is a serious collection. Pics please.

Just for future refrence Cyberman, they generally frown upon 1st time posters who's first post is in the Marketplace. Plus with something this large pricewise it's required to have a picture with your handle written on a piece of paper next to it so they know you're for real. So please, don't take offense.

I’m working on getting some pictures, but I can assure everybody that I’m no bull shitter.

As regards to the first post, your absolutely right in that I didn’t read the rules. However most forums ask for the kind of decency that I believe all human beings should posses by default, and so although there are many forums I frequent in which I haven’t read the rules, I’ve never had any problems simply because I believe in behaving like a decent person.

Rules are there to be followed, and while I think that’s a pretty stupid one, I should point out that I have visited assembler before and made one or two posts under a different guise, but assumed this identity because I didn’t want to be associated with my more common internet username.

Back on topic: As I said I’m planning on getting pictures of the items for say, but given a leap of faith here, if what I’m saying about the quality and scale of the collection is true would anybody be prepared to buy bits of it, or the whole lot?

I'm sure it's cool, we've just been getting a lot of noobs latley.

Anyway, I might be interested in a few items, sorry but there's no way I could afford to take it all off your hands.

Regardless of whether you agree with them or not, you should have at least read them. "Common" decency or not, you had no way of knowing if there are any special rules or restrictions. Personally, I don't care if first time posters wish to sell items. Your post did follow all of the other rules, albeit unintentionally. However, if you care enough to stick around for more than just selling this collection, then you should read and respect them.

Of course, I am just thankful there is no SX on that list... :katamari:

Common decency is reading the rules before posting. I do it in every forum I join, it's not hard.

Sounds like an excellent collection, by the way - would be great to see a picture of it all.

I've read the rules many times, but missed that one!

Anyhoo this is a really nice collection and a few years ago I had something similar myself, although I didn't get back half of what I paid for it.

I agree with Shadowlayer, Sonic CD can be your most valuable asset if sealed. I had a sealed copy of the UK PC Version in big box format and it sold for £130.
