There's a new homebrew shmup coming out for NeoGeo. http://www.ngdevteam.com/ According to the thread on Neo-Geo.com, it's only planned for an AES release. Hopefully the amount of MVS owners willing to pay for a copy will secure an MVS release A CD release would be nice too.
Sweet. Neo get a lot of playtime at the mo. Looks somewhat familiar if you know what I mean;-), but great stuff all the same. If any console could handle a few more years I'd say it was the neo.
Sweet find, can't wait for this to come out, I will definitely have to pick myself up a copy. It is good to see that there are still companies out there willing to support the Neo Geo, as there was no reason to give up on this system. The system itself is still more than powerful enough for many 2d games these days in my opinion. MVS machines are still in thousands of arcades, which means an already established line of machines just asking for new carts to be dropped in them, not to mention the many NG fans like me who went out and bought themselves a machine and are willing to snap up anything new that comes out.
I'll be all over this...providing they can put it out at a price I can afford...oh...and as long as it doesn't suck. Edit: I just read the thread. 2x SNK pricing? 700ish? Even five or six hundred is waaay too much. There goes that.
