i do dump my 4929, after that i put recovery 9328.9 to my box
i have got e79, power up again without cd normally.
but i updated to 9328.0 and after that i tried 9328.9, and now RROD.
    sidecar + lpt = reflashing...

wtf? i have got test kit. maybe problem is on test kit not development kit

    or leak is "corrupted"

What kind of kit is it?

Just recently, i refitted my sidecar, i had to remove it when my kit came as i didnt have a stepdown for the US power brick. After finally digging out a stepdown i refitted the sidecar and emulated an iso to make sure it was all good.

Loaded the dashboard up and sure enough the game was "in the drive" 2 seconds later, 3 red lights. Rebooted the console, 3 red lights again. Removed the sidecar and rebooted, again 3 red lights.

Obviously i was a bit miffed so decided to do a little digging and found nothing regarding sidecars malfunctioning so decided to give it another shot without the sidecar, the console booted fine and played a game.

Me being the curious self loathing type, i was not satisfied that my expensive kit had somehow revived itself, and decided to re attach the sidecar, sure enough resulting in 3 red lights... turned out it was a problem with the stepdown. After a little cooldown period, and removal of the sidecar i am now able to use the test kit fine running on a 203watt brick with the HDD in a standard enclosure and the dvd drive hooked up as normal.

Point being... try giving it a rest, maybe you will hit lucky like me, failing that you could be looking at a jtag style reflash through your sidecar if you have one available.

I have test kit also, defo staying clear of this for now, are we ok to put the MD5 of the image on here to check them against working installs?

I know it may seem unrelated though, but have you checked the LED on your power brick. I forgot to mention, mine was stuck on red untill i unplugged it from the wall, ive seen a red light result in a totally dead box before, mind that was a retail box.

    Worth checking though.

Please tell me you had a nand backup before you ran this. Be it from usb, lpt, flash360 whatever. Because you are going to need to reflash the nand, I ran this same exact file on my xbr console, and unlike real recoveries this one doesn't show the menu when booted on an xbr console. What it does is erases the nand, and will show red lights until you unplug it then it' completely dead, no lights, no fans. If you have your nand back up you are ok just reflash and it will work. If you do not then you can thank the haters for getting your kit bricked

Thats good, do that, and you should be fine as long as in your rrod attempt you didn't actully make it rrod, but at least if thats the case it will turn back on, with lights and fans ect, then u just have to redo the rrod and you should be all set.

The people that are in on it of coarse, they would also be the ones that take the most offense to this as well, and I'm not going to argue with you about anything because that's not tolerated here, you can pm me if you would like and if I choose to respond then so be it.

    my have got 483 700 736 bajts
    MD5 7C3E4F6620F76E19095623735F8180F0

    killed my box.

but friend have got 301 434 880 bajts
    MD5 BDDF51AB55DE08FD223564BB0D0C49A4

    and work correctly

    Good luck!

if You kill Your XBOX with bad 9328.9, You can still reflash by LPT/USB > SPI
if You have dump your nand.
if You haven't just read kv and config, and get NAND Dev backup from friend, replace and reflash

I think I'll stick with the 9328.5 for now ;x

Any good reason to update to the 9328.9 anyway?
