Lauching SN System software on a Wii using the USB port.

Hello Guys,

As RVT-R Wii can read NR discs, I was able to launch the SN debugger disc on my RVT-R Wii.

Now, I wonder if the SN Systems software allowing connection between a PC and a TDEV is possible using the classic USB ports present on the Wii (instead of the USB port located under Gamecube TDEV units). Has someone ever tryed this ?

When I will have some time to try it, I will do it and keep you updated.

 

This is a guess, but I would think it's extremely unlikely - mostly because the Wii USB ports are connected to the ARM9 that's built into the Wii "Hollywood" chip, and that's a piece of hardware that has no counterpoint in the GC.

 

Thanks Trimesh for this interesting point. I also think that it is not possible. But I want to test it to be sure.
